Where can I watch this?
This movie is a gem. It may be more comedy than horror but still touching.
I recently re-watched on iQIYI but it’s dubbed in Mandarin Chinese instead of the original Cantonese. Fortunately, the songs sung by Sammi Cheng is still in Cantonese.

So glad to see that the rating has climbed up. I don't know how long it has been 8.4 but I hope that it goes higher!
I keep checking on TBW and TLB hoping they go up to 8.8 like YAMG (Reba’s name Ba Ba).

For those who have watched the show, which subs are better: the Croton's or VirtualVoyage's (fansub)? Thanks ahead…
I prefer VV's fansubs but Croton's are not bad too and they sub the songs as well.
One plus point is watching on Croton makes your views count as it's official channel.

For the new viewers who only started watching this drama when the English subs came out 2 months after it finished…
I second this.

Thanks for sharing the true scenario which you witnessed. Then I truly salute the police officers in those areas if they are as dedicated as the ones shown in the drama.

Love this drama! Kept me engaged til the last second! Now what do I do with my life?
I also hate the empty feeling after finishing a drama I love/enjoy. Withdrawal syndromes can be bad and watching other dramas make you feel they lack something and affect enjoyment.
Usually if rewatching doesn’t help I watch short clips of memorable scenes on social media or the osts.
Good luck.

I understand if the general population is of the lowest level then the drama may be a mild depiction of actual scenario. But the buildings and community does not show the community is in a slum area, hence my disbelief. Even if they want to portray the police in a good light, the lengths this police station is willing to go to help society is unbelievable and if true, really commendable.

Title Ordinary Greatness Spoiler
If i would have mother like xia jie, I would have lost all my hair until now due to stress. I never knew how anyone's…
Have yet to reach this part and already feel stressed whenever her mum makes an appearance. In fact, other than the 4 police officers, I find almost everyone seems to be unreasonable most of the time - elderly people, the community in general, etc.. If this situation is a realistic depiction of a police station or community in China, being a police officer seems like a depressing occupation. I'm worked up just seeing them go through all that until I'm so tempted to throw in the towel and drop the drama.
They have to put their life in danger for ridiculous reasons, fork out own money to help, cleaning up after the elderly, etc.. Gosh... seems like the job for an angel or social services.

On The Blue Whisper: Part 2 Jun 10, 2022
After watching subbed Part 2 on Croton Youtube channel, I appreciate the Part 1 fansub by Virtual Voyage team more as they seem to convey the meaning of what was spoken more accurately.
For Part 2 by Croton even though the subs are not bad, sometimes it's not that accurate and only those who understand Chinese can notice the difference. But I do appreciate that they provide subbed lyrics for the background music which plays during important/touching/sad scenes because from there we can feel how each song connects to that particular scene and made it more impactful.

same like love and redemption, this drama made me cry a lots😭 They go through so much pain and it breaks my…
I watched Love and Redemption and though I liked it, I felt the ML's sacrifice for FL was too one sided ie most of the time he's the one sacrificing and vomiting blood (made me wonder how much blood he really has). Meanwhile, in TBW the relationship of the main and side couples are balanced and each will always put the other first.

Title The Blue Whisper: Part 2 Spoiler
I want to know this too....is it his dream imagination orrr isss that real?
It wasn't a reincarnation because she did not die. She absorbed the psycho Shun De's spirit into her body and needed time for it to be removed/cleansed with the help of the crystal heart lamp. I think the Heavenly King mentioned that the length of time taken also depends on how strong JYH's will and determination is so everyone knows it's a matter of time before she comes back. Meanwhile, the mermaid pearl that CY gave her transformed her during the 300+ years she was in the volcano. I guess if you're an immortal who's not supposed to die and lived for hundreds or thousands of centuries 300+ years is like a mortal's 3-year time skip lol...

Title The Blue Whisper: Part 2 Spoiler
Ep 9 - I'M IN TEARS. This is officially Allen's best work.
I think so too but may be biased because he looks so handsome here and has such a nice big tail - no wonder JYH fell in love.
Anyway, the part where he sang the merman's song (sounds like his real voice) before he got frozen and said to JYH that the only good thing the crazy psycho Shunde did was to send him to Flower Valley - I cried along with JYH....

Dilraba Dilmurat is the only reason to watch.
Do give the rest of the cast a chance. If you were engrossed in the drama you may notice that each actor/actress' role plays a part in making the drama a success.

i’ve seen people talking on other forums about ren jia lun and how he should be comfortable kissing on screen…
Agree wholeheartedly. I do admire him for standing up for his own principles and use his own acting abilities to prove his worth. If his no-kissing is due to his marriage then his wife is lucky to have him as a husband. If it's due to health reason, then I support as health is more important than anything. Unless he's sure the other party who's supposed to be in intimate scenes with him prioritise health as well, can't blame him for being careful.
We know that Reba is careful with her health because in most BTS for other dramas and this one we can see she's wearing mask most of the time.
