Hahaha...you are not the only one. She was the most hated character in this drama. Never seen a mother so selfish…
Same here. I wished she'd just disappear or really kill herself instead of just trying unsuccessfully. Imagine locking her young children in the house so that she can go play mahjong and to blame it on his young son for causing his sister's death, then abandoning him. After that, she had the audacity to give birth to another daughter and shove the parenting responsibility to her son again. While the drama is trying to portray depression/mental health, a selfish mother like that does not deserve any sympathy. Ultimately, she loves only herself because if she loves her family, she would know she needs to seek help for their sake. Most adults would go through ups and downs in their life and at times unable to snap out of depression. But to put her family through hell is really selfish.
I kinda didn't understand why people were liking this drama bc I, too, thought it's kind of incest, but I'm on…
When I read reviews/comments about incestous relationship especially the part about LX kissing JJ when she's sleeping it made me put off watching the drama. I'm glad in the end I decided to give it a try because I like Seven Tan. Like you, I also found that as the story progresses, there's no doubt they're meant to be a couple and it seems natural that they end up together. The part where they separated for so long before getting back together seems fitting otherwise it'll seem odd that JJ is able to accept that LX love her as a woman, not as a sister. For LX, I was a bit uncomfortable as he seems to need her due to the state of his mental health and sees her as his only saviour. While I understand filial piety, I felt he has already done his part as a son. The bitch of a mother only knows how to pass on responsibility to others and absolve herself of any wrongdoings. When confronted with truth she will put others on a guilt trip. If LX did not stand up for JJ I would really hate him. I really like ZQ's character more but not as JJ's boyfriend, would love to have a brother like him and a father like Dad Li. I was also dreading the part if Ming Yue is gonna turn out evil later because I like her and the friendship between the 3 girls. Thankfully their friendship remains strong despite the bickerings. Honestly, I really hated LX's mother and while it means the actress does a good job at it, I did wish she would just jump off a high building instead of emotionally blackmailing LX and blaming everyone except herself. Better to not have a mother than a mother like that.
Great series but depressing. Nice theme song but so sad. Makes me feel if I’m one of these apartment dwellers there’s not much hope and future looks bleak. Holding some hope that there’s a season 2 and a happy ending but doubt there is.
Is it me or are the bullies in the show really dramatic - this is some borderline criminal stuff and I don't know…
It makes me wonder if bullying is really as rampant as that why aa the students' parents bear with it? It doesn't seem like selected few being targeted. Almost all students seems to give protection money.
Why people in white are So annoying they don't do anything just sitting and playing all day they don't risk their…
Same thoughts here. Just sitting up there being so judgemental. If a person is already wicked when evil spirit chose them, wouldn't it be better to kill the host too? Wouldn't removing the evil spirit allow the evil host to attract another evil spirit? Waste of counters' effort to get rid of them.
You know they did not really say- but I would guess its like the counter's - only way for a mom/son team. What…
I don't think he ate the green soul. To me it looked like he's the portal to Yung and the green soul (which means its the evil spirits' captive) can ascend to Yung through him thereby allowing him to communicate with Wi-gen at Yung in that crucial time. It also looks like regardless of whether Wi-gen is willing or not, Mun can summon her to come to join his body. The territory zone seems to be summoned when he has the strong desire to protect too.
I forgot Lee Jong Suk in that movie which I wish I could ‘unwatch’.
The movie is good but Lee Jong Suk was too much of a violent, sadistic psycho. It was so difficult picturing him as male idol when I see him in another drama. Whereas Nam Goong Min was a psycho with style. I admired his character as a villain and even felt sad he died lol...
Is this only for kdramas? I can’t really remember a nasty villain which i hate to the bone (like the actor Hao Chen in Love and Redemption which makes me want to rip his tongue out and poke his eyes). Nam Goong Min I like as villain with class so gonna vote for him.
Gong Yoo in Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy. (most of you would’ve been toddlers then lol...) Watched every drama of his ever since then. His movie Silenced was also memorable.
Dropped after watching the ML's bangs in the opening scene, then tried again as it was highly recommended. Dropped again after seeing the way the ML walk/talk, etc... Again, was convinced to bear with it and try watching. Glad I didn't give up as it's worth watching just for the sweet moments despite the lack of real kisses (only those few chaste kisses here). Well, the ML's hairstyle with the ugly hairsprayed bang remains throughout but after a while you won't focus so much on it. He walks like a real slouch and talks in an annoying way, but that is because he's portraying a thug in the earlier part of the drama. His posture improves a bit in later part though occasionally he will still walk that way (sorry, that was my pet peeve. Compared to Xiao Nai's straight as a ramrod posture in Love O2O this really aggravated me). FL was strong and sweet plus could cook so well I wish to have a Chef Fang of my own to marry. Her in-laws are great and no one could ask for a pair of better drama in-laws than these 2. Overall, a drama which gives you a sweet after-taste. Do watch if you have nothing to fill your time while waiting for something to watch. It may surprise you.
Note: In reality though, I think ML is pretty useless. Seems like his only reason for survival is his wife. Spends the time following the wife around, reading (forced), martial arts and going around helping in his father's investigation. He's lucky his family is considered wealthy or I don't know where their income will be from. Maybe period dramas are all like this? I normally don't watch much of period drama so not sure what they do to earn a living.
I was both happy and sad when DaJung was in the shoe store and realizing it was Woo Young/Dae Young who bought…
I've never rooted for JiHoon with DaJung and to me, he never stood a chance as it's quite clear our main couple still love each other even though it has slowly built up into resentment over the years due to life's up and downs..
