The way they break his grandma's heart is really unacceptable. They obviously like each other. Just need the FL to know it's the same person. So, I really don't understand why they need to do all those unnecessary stuff.

On Episode 15 and considering dropping the drama. Not sure if it's worth continuing.

He has this perpetual 'constipated' look and yet manage to draw me in lol....

All dramas may have similar clichés or storyline but sometimes the actors and supporting cast makes all the difference.
I actually dropped Mr. Honesty after few episodes. Can't feel if I care or not whether lead couple get together and the supporting cast is not memorable.
However, this drama had me invested in all the characters.

I watched trailers so that I don't need to start watching now and wait torturous moments for the next episodes.
However, watching those trailers made me unable to resist waiting until the drama is fully aired so now here I am waiting impatiently for the next episodes.

I dislike the male lead in love designer. He sued her for bankruptcy and kept dissing her. Only turned to her due to problem with sister. And the hot pot product advertised is off-putting too.

Yes, but couldn’t bear with it too. Prefer her playing the role of a strong, independent lady with a male lead who loves her first or at least treat her well from the beginning.

Thanks for summarising this. I can’t stomach this kind of story so giving it a miss.

Love Raba but have yet to find any of her drama which I could finish watching (with the exception of TMOPB which she isn’t the FL) :(

If you like him can try watching Ugly Girl Ru Hua though I dislike the character he plays there. The FL is one of the hateful lady from TMOPB.

I thought it was only me who thinks the ML looks like he's dead on the inside and no energy/passion in what he does...
But I guess showing off his nice body in the bath tub makes up for it...

I love ep 1 too but after the over exaggerated part where the male lead could take on so many students at once and the female lead who is strong enough to carry him like a sack of potatoes, the subsequent episodes couldn’t really maintain my interest. The way the female lead talk to her BFF seems cringey. Going to just skip to last 2 eps and consider it completed.

Countless times while watching I remember thinking - now that's a good time to say you miscarried the non-existent baby. However, they keep putting it off as they do not want to put their family member on a guilt trip. In fact, they could've come clean at the times when the family member is self-blaming and just say it's ok cos there's no baby in there but they didn't do so too. Fortunately, the ending ties up everything nicely. So, to me this is a minor annoyance.

I was wishing they at least show us how Ru Er end up in a brothel or some other place which she used to deem as 'lowly' cos she really deserve it. She seems to be made of the same mould as the obsessive psychotic b*tch in Eternal Love TMOPB (of course that one takes the top award).

Just finished it. It did get draggy in the middle but I found it acceptable compared to other dramas (Cinderella Chef and My heroic Husband) which kills off characters I’m starting to like or turned from comedy to tragic.

I was surprised I love Joy of Life too cos I usually avoid dramas with Palace politics. Despite the lack of romance, male lead who's not the drop dead gorgeous kind and a king that looks like a beggar most of the time, the acting, pacing, storyline was all superb. If I knew it ended on a cliffhanger and a second season will only come after few years I wouldn't have started watching it first.

Same question every time her pregnancy is brought up. It's like her in-laws are all trying avoid the big elephant in the room. They seem to know she's actually faking it but pretend all is well (her family/upbringing, forever flat belly etc) because they can see that their son loves her.
I mean how difficult is it to insist on another doctor to diagnose/treat their daughter in law?

Ikr... watch with an open mind, ignore some plot holes and this is light and fluffy (with a little angst thrown in). It's more like comedy so those who wants serious drama should probably watch another.
I have no patience and if a drama don't catch my interest or I don't even care if the leads live or die then it's a sure sign to drop it.
At least for this drama I have started to care about the leads and the supporting cast (male lead's parents, bodyguard, female lead's maid and mother etc..)

I’m at ep 18 and really want to drop the drama ?
