So...what does the Eclipse have to do with anything??? In the original teaser, this seemed like some kind of supernatural drama, but now it seems totally different...
Sometimes I think about how can someone write a story with a lot of disturbing content in it and still be fine,…
Right? I mean, they wrote all those rape scenes, etc... Is it surprising that they, themselves, are perpetrators of sexual assault??? I am *not* saying that every person with a rape fantasy or who writes non-consensual things is automatically a rapist, but the authors have a pattern...
I apologize for the little rant but people on twitter are really losing their marbles and their critical thinking…
I agree that it's complicated but at the same time, it's trending on twitter; at a certain point it becomes worse for them to "ignore it" , even if they are working behind the scenes for a resolution.
But celebrities didnβt beg u to support them.they doing work needed & has talent.they just wanted to entertain…
Yeah, you are out of touch with reality. Actors get paid money for being popular. Nobody pays me money to make IG posts. In that way, actors are different from you and me. As a result, when they say something bad, lots of people hear it. Some people are hurt and traumatized, others agree and support. In this case, people are supporting someone who thinks sexual assault is a joke.
I am a teacher, if I made a joke about sexual assault at my job, I would get "cancelled, meaning I would get fired.
his job is to be famous and make people like him and like his posts and by the products that he partners with and pay money for his fan meets and watch his shows. he said some bad things, 8 years ago, but also in the last year according to many posts on this site. sounds like he's doing his job poorly.
basically, he cannot have it both ways. if he is going to enjoy the benefits of being famous, such as paid partnerships and money from videos and being an influencer, he also has to accept that his words have additional weight, and he could lose it all if he says the wrong thing, because that's how being famous works.
you sound like the kind of person based on some of your comments I read higher up that has probably been traumatized a lot yourself, but instead of supporting other people who have been traumatized, you are basically saying, well everybody has to deal with this so y'all should just get over it. recommend you spend some time in therapy really processing what's going on with you and I think that that will help you to become a kinder more empathetic person in the future
Thank you for writing out your thoughts - this is really well constructed and it touches the main points of my…
Haha, I totally understand. He seemed like such a nice guy (famous words!). But I was feeling some kind of way about people's responses, especially all the comments to "just stop talking about it." Nope. It needs to be talked about. It sucks caused I thought he was cool too and I'm mad he said such shitty things and then responded in such a low-energy way. Like, you did something shitty! How are you going to try to make it better???
