Sounds like a good series to start while waiting for The Song of Glory to release new episodes.
Don't invest too many hopes, is going downhill pretty fast. Is an ok filler drama. Pretty forgettable. and full of tropes and plot holes. Quite hilarious though up to a certain episode. Ah, and if you missed Ashes of love, this actually only lacks Yang Zi, Deng Lun and Luo Yunxi for a full reunion LOL!
How am I suppose to sit and wait until next week to see more episodes? I'm addicted!!! Damn! Last two episodes was awesome, although as expected, a bit frustrating. But great nonetheless. Ugh, the wait is gonna kill me >_<
Sorry, I don't mean to be rude or anything, only my 2cents here, but to not be able to finish The Untamed because…
Somehow I don't believe you when you say you watched 30 episodes before you dropped. And I say I don't believe you because of a simple reason: the climax of the drama starts at ep 30 and reaches its peak at episode 33. If you really watched the drama you wouldn't have dropped at ep 30, when the things got highly intense. But, lol OK.
It does have martial arts but it's not wuxia genre. It's historical.
You got confused. That's xianxia you are talking about. Wuxia (武俠 wǔxiá) – literally means “Martial Heroes”. Fictional stories about regular humans who can achieve supernatural fighting ability through Chinese martial arts training and internal energy cultivation. Themes of chivalry, tragedy, revenge & romance are common. Xianxia (仙侠 xiānxiá) – literally means “Immortal Heroes”. Fictional stories featuring magic, demons, ghosts, immortals, and a great deal of Chinese folklore/mythology. Protagonists (usually) attempt to cultivate to Immortality, seeking eternal life and the pinnacle of strength. Heavily inspired by Daoism. Is not like tunnel bear, that is a browser extension, Cyberghost is not an extension you need to install it on your PC/phone/tablet and launch it , choose the server, before opening IQIYI in order to make it work. Of course they also have a browser extension but it has only few countries servers available and they not always works. They have a trial period you might want to try out.
I'm using Cyberghost, is the less costly (especially if you make a long term subscription) and have the widest range of countries servers outthere, including China.
If you are lucky to live in a non censored country, IQIYI is your best bet. It can be also if you own a VPN. They are the fastest to sub the episodes. If not, Viki with vikipass is the best alternative.

Uhmmm you doesn't need to obsess over something in order to be objective. Not all the people praising TU are kids with hormones running onto their heads salivating over the hot guys. There's quite a number of ahjumma's that didn't lost their heads. I can joke the entire day with my obsession for Xiao Zhan, Doesn't mean I'm really obsessed with him to the point I lost my sleep... Just saying.

Sorry again, your initial comment did sound like the only reason you dropped it was because of that. Hence my consideration. How can you talk about the pace, storyline, production etc etc, if you dropped it? Doesn't sounds right. But... okay.
Lowlifers... :P
