I think Song Joong Ki's character originally had no blood ties with the family- they killed him and as fate would have it, he reincarnated into their youngest son! We'll get a better idea about the lore when it starts in Nov, but my guess is that he will remember his past life and wants to take revenge on them.

With JTBC's recent track record of shelved dramas and controversies, I'm not surprised they're being weird with the promos here haha

Somehow the more ‘intense’ / ‘serious’ sageuks get rated higher on MDL but imo I think there’s a place for fusion-genre / lighter ones! Poong is so much fun!

Probably one of my favourite dramas this year! V. good and entertaining action thriller. My biggest criticism is how Seon Oh doesn’t feature enough but the ML- KHN was incredible! So nice to see him step into this genre 🥰

I love how they took all the things you’d typically see in makjang and went all out in a short 8-eps series. Nothing is drawn out and it’s an addictive fun binge watch. What can I say, I’m a sucker for all the drama and makjang theatrics!

I reckon it’ll air later in 2022 🙂 the leads are busy so will have other dramas released first !

They are always using the newest Samsung phones (occasionally they use iPhones or strangely use older versions lol)

When I watch older dramas, even ones from 2016-18, the phones tend to have a sticker covering up the brand. I think PP has increased in recent years, and Samsung's branding is covered up when actors hold the phones.

I think it's easy to recognise the brands regardless of whether they make effort to cover it up tho (so maybe that's also why they've stopped!)
