Wonderland is ambitious how it explores its AI concept, which allows the living to connect with their departed loved ones. The cast is phenomenal, even if the overall cohesive feeling falters. Pls can someone tell me what's Hani role is?Does she have a love interest? Or she's "evil"?
She’s barely appeared in this so far. She’s the ML’s ex girlfriend who broke up with him and spent time abroad. She’s just come back to Korea, so we’ll see what part she’ll play in this!
I don’t get on with a lot of rom-coms, but this was so good! Refreshing to see lots of comedy and not let it drift into melo territory. The cast had massive chemistry and just overall enjoyed binge watching this over the weekend! Much needed light hearted & fun watch!
Gutted not to see The Uncanny Counter S2 listed. Can't wait for Sweet Home S2.I love supernatural and fantasy,…
I was thinking that! Maybe Uncanny Counter will air early 2024... But chances are there are some upcoming dramas that'll air on Korean channels haven't been confirmed for Netflix yet, so haven't featured in this quick overview!
Sometimes I need a light easy watch and this was it! Loved the ensemble cast, the one of stories and fun cameos. One of the few series I think a second season would be beneficial- I think it could really grow and keep those cameos coming!
A meteorite crashed on Tokyo - that’s the fireworks that the woman on film & Chota mentioned in flashbacks. Everyone’s souls was transported to the Borderlands to take part in games, literally fighting for their lives. Some players died inevitably and then at the end, after all the games ended, the players could choose to ‘stay’ and become a game master or like the MCs choose to go back. A way of saying they survived.
After all, the Borderlands is the ‘border’ between life & death. In regards to the Joker card at the end, that’s a connection to the manga.
Such a fun show! Also learning so much about Korean culture & history too! Really appreciate and respect how much they protect and pass down traditions too.
Personally not a fan of the FL but that trailer was fire. But damn, I miss the days when "season 1" wasnt in the…
I feel like this is becoming the norm for OTT-made shows. Disney+ have also split Big Bet in two seasons of 8 eps and Wavve split Tracer earlier this year (although it’s bit of an anomaly as it was also aired on MBC!) I guess it ‘builds hype’ and gives extra time for post-production!
Hopefully UC S2 will air later this year 🙌
