Okay as much as I hated how they dragged out Yeong Ok’s story/ reveal, EP14 redeemed it because it was just beautifully executed and man had me in tears! So emotional and this show keeps surprising me!
OML! I was beginning to feel sorry for Jina and her childhood but then the ending of ep 13 put me in shock. Like…
Honestly I've always found Louis to be sus from the start. I knew he must've driven a wedge between Eun Pyo & Jin Ha. Although the two had a complicated friendship, I don't think Louis helped. Also when he casually said to Eun Pyo's police husband that he thinks Eun Pyo might still have feelings for him, just made me so angry.
You're not the only one! Despite Jin-ha being a "bitch" from Eun-pyo's perspective, that's actually a good thing…
Yeah I did not see Jin Ha's death coming at all! Also she was one of my favourite complicated characters to delve into, so I'm gutted aha.
I also wanted to see Jin Ha and Eun Pyo join forces against Chun-hee!! I knew Chun-hee was sus from the start and I'm not surprised she would do all she can to hide her shady drugs biz. I'm really sad to see her daughter Yu Bin act like her in school (although not surprising she would've learned it from her mother)
I reckon secrets will be revealed, all the mothers will have to deal with the fall-out/ consequences. And it'll impact on their idea of motherhood for their children.
Ikr it’s sad more than anything! As well as their top crime/ police type dramas, I loved the well executed high-concept dramas that were very different to the other channels. (Strangers from Hell and The Guest to name a couple).
Now I shiver anytime I see an actor I like attached to an upcoming OCN drama lol
Anyone else still in denial that Jim Ha is dead?! Part of me wants a wacky reveal that she ain’t dead as I desperately miss her as a character/ wanted her and Eun Pyo to work through their complicated friendship.
I’m one of the rare ones lol as I really enjoyed this! I love series that explores shamanism, religion/ folklore etc. The ‘dark’ & eerie atmosphere balanced well by mixing in stories and feelings of the characters. At the heart of this was about a grieving couple and as a short series/ movie-like screen time, I think it did the job well! Fast paced thrill ride, phenomenal acting and a touching message in the end.
The Madrid match itself is TOO MUCH already, then they add even more after that.- It's so hard to watch if you…
Omo thank you for writing your thoughts about Yu Rim and Hee Do, that was what got me crying MDL much! As much as we are all wondering what the endgame is, I’ve been much more invested in seeing the wonderful and complicated relationship between the two best friends.
