This will be without a doubt Kim So Hyun’s best role.
It's what I feel, or hope, too.

I pickup :
- LUCA, because action/SF.
- Cliffhanger, because it's refreshing to go in natural site, mountains, instead of Seoul, and there is famous actor Sung Dong Il.
- maybe MINE, because two of my fav actress, Kim Seo Hyung and Lee Bo Young.
- maybe maybe Doom at Your Service, because plot sounds intriguing.

Thank for this preview article.

I finished the drama!
So, beginning is too slow, there is some scene made longer than they should during 4 first episodes. Then the drama become more and more good, and finaly deliver the kind of emotions this screenwriter use too.
Overall, a nice drama, helping to keep the good mood.
Still, it wasn't as intense of this writer previous dramas. I put to much expectations before watching, and I'm victim of my own hype.

Your review is too long for me to comment on it all at once.
I think some of your unfulfilled expectations of this drama are legitimate, and one has to read you to understand it. Yes, PJ's character could have served longer as a love triangle angle, the tension built up more on that point. But too bad, that was not at all the strategy followed from the start. We must also understand this point.
I'm still a little disappointed. I liked the drama, but it wasn't as strong as this writer's previous dramas. Especially the first episodes. I was completely unsettled, because her previous first episodes were an "all-in-one". Incredibly strong first episodes, posing the plot, at an astounding speed and a phenomenal emotional punch. Nothing like that. I had to hang on for many episodes before I got to enjoy what I love about this writer. A period of doubt, stagnation, disappointment. So this drama is uneven.

Breakup scene during episode 12 killed me. But I'm a no-brainer watcher, I could expect that before it come in my face. So much suffering here... Aaaah, I like it !

Your in for a doozy of a ride :)))
Yah! Me again. :-)
Listen to this, it's crazy...
"While I were sleeping".
I just slept 2h because I was very tired. And I made a very weird dream. I dreamed of this drama.
-----
In my dream, the team make ads for their product : so, a soft component that help to guide blind people. In my dream, for any unknow reason, they are on the phone with a Jet pilot. And the Jet pilot decide to prove to the world than their soft is really good and accurate. So, the pilot close his eyes, and land is Jet blindly, just helped with what say the soft.
End of the dream.
----
I suppose I dreamed of that because in the story, there is a big correlation between the soft and almoneoi who become blind. What is a great twist a prove that the story have a strong internal structure, not easy to elaborate. But the channel should have made it 1h/episodes, what the writer is accoutumate for.

Well I can feel a bit of all this.
As a joke, I add : CEO Han look like a ECO+ version of won bin (in Memories of alhambra). ^^
But now, I really enjoyed episode 7. This episode rock! Many good scenes and feeling. I was surprised by ML crashing the president glassbar, and then the kiss. It was a great episode, making me keep watching. ;-)

Your in for a doozy of a ride :)))
End of episode 6 broke me ! ML was ready to say the truth about the false letters... But because of almeoni, the lie continue. Arrgh, this will cause more problems in the future, for sure. I guess there will be a traumatic scene with lot of tears, regrets, accusations, etc. Lying is not good for everyday life. A lot of good life lessons in this drama, or small touchs in dialogues, "what make a good president ?", as usual with this writer, there is lot of unexpected ideas about this. It's a pity than pace look more like "reunited worlds" than her previous dramas. I feel like with only 3 episodes, her mini drama page turner (quite slow) was really faster, dense and emotionnal. Maybe because her others storys are far more dramatics, question of life or death, it hit more, and the warmthfull moments are more poignants when it come.

Edit: beginning of episode 7 start well. It's a declaration of love war with the 2 ML.
Well, I don't focus on the love story, love triangles etc, it's not the core of the story for me, but there is an obvious dilemma : what more important ? The sincerity of the letters but back 15 years ago, or the real feeling of the present day, because the geek look like to have sinceres feeling now.

Hi Kimsamsoom, how are you? Thank you for your answer.
I'm still watching the drama anyway. It's being delved into some details, like the professional environment, and the twists and turns related to it. The screenwriter has worked well on that.

Hello people!
After months, I finally have time to watch a drama. Naturally, I chose this one because Park Hye Ryun is one of my favorite screenwriters, and I've been waiting for this drama for a long time.
I just finished episode 5, and I'm disappointed. It's a human and professional development drama, like Pinnochio or Dream High was. At times I feel the talent of the writer, or I notice some of her habits (like the mother-daughter relationship in I Hear your voice).
But it's all so slow! There are endless filling scenes. Like the cherry tree petal that takes 5 minutes to go around the city (and rather badly done in 3d). It's really dragging on, and in fact I don't feel the emotional hit power that her previous dramas had, even if I was still surprised by a couple of warm and intense scenes.

Are these Liar Game series good? I heard about them but since I am more into new releases (I just started, so…
For sure there is all subs on subscene. About Vod, I don't know where to find this. I was lucky to find a 1080p version a few years ago, but I don't remember where.

It's "Liar Game: Reborn". It's less good than the drama. And there is no way to replace Erika Toda by another character.
And it come after. There is a chronology.
If I summarize, the essential is :
- Liar game season 1.
- Liar game season 2.
- Liar Game: The Final Stage.
Others show are short story, one shot or movie. Only worth to watch after the essentials (+ it spoil a lot). But difficult to find, and just optional.
Last thing : don't watch the korean remake, it's very bad.

Japanese drama Liar game is a masterpiece. Crazy smart with incredible plot-twists, quite brain intensive but easy to understand. A true world building thank to the directing and mostly editing. And a fun buddy couple with Matsuda Shota and Toda Erika. It's a drama with a "anime" feel, because of colors, pace, and weird charaters acting like in a manga. It's something you never watched elsewhere.

So... I started watching drama ten year ago, and I watched easely 50 less drama than you in one year. ^^
At first, I was watching mostly japanese drama. As I watched Hana Yori Dango, I never watched the korean remake "boy over flower".
My all time favorite drama was Liar Game, until 7 years later I watched kdrama W.
My first kdrama was City Hunter because I wanted to watch the japanese character, but it was a trap ! It's totaly different ! Yet, the drama was nice. Human interactions was surprising.
First favorite actress was Lee Dae Hee, because of Miss Ripley drama. So I watched all her dramas. Some of them were quite bad! But when you start watching dramas, you can watch some bad dramas without problem. Robber was boring. Hello! Miss wasn't really good but with enough funny content. Of course, Chuno and Hotel King were great.

Article Premiere Reminder: Start-Up Spoiler
They are such a dream team! I can’t wait to watch it . Also can’t wait for your thoughts on the comments
Hi! Hélas, I don't plan to watch it live, probably binge watch after broadcast. I don't watch dramas since some weeks. I'm more on cinema, SF movies, good old french movies, a bit of everything.
And I also rewatched 24, all seasons. This time I took care about the script, and it's probably the best serie ever about cliffhanger, plot-twist, pace. Or at least, as good as W, 365 repeat the year or Empress Ki about that.
Ah! and also, funny and weird japanese movies, Zombie Ass toilet of the dead, vampire girl vs frankeistein girl, Robogeisha, Exte. Or other fun horror movies I missed : Belko experiment, Horribilis, Mayhem, Milo, The Cabin In The Woods. And crazy action movies, like Kill'Em all, the night come for us, Ninja assassin (with Rain!), Crank.
My favorite movie from this cinema run : Terumae romae (japanese movie and comedy).
