very well written review. I'm on end ep 13 they have kissed and heres the thing it's the romance that's the weakest…
I'm not too demanding for romance in romcom, in the way I prefer melos for love stories. So, I find too the romance isn't the best part here. I was just enough happy because, well, it happens, and a bit better than some other romcoms where my ECG remained flat. Sure, the biiiig flashback helps a lot. In historicals, dramatic stakes are higher and so we feel better the romance.
Else, thanks for reading. I called that "visual screenplay", and "TV illusion" for first episodes, because each line of dialogue has a different pic. Else, once you remove all pics and multiple lines per character, it's accurate to korean screenplay format.
Isn't that what makes Asian dramas so unique and different from Western ones? In Western dramas, there tends to…
I remember while watching BTS of previous dramas: how just a kiss with closed lips could be embarassing for actors, in some conditions. So by respect for actors, I don't expect them doing real french kisses. And I don't care they don't.
Well, a guy taking care of her day and night a few days would be toxic now. It's mostly he's bad at expressing…
Connect the dots. What she says at start of breakup scene + what she says to her sister when talking about leaving granma house. She doesn't believe in selfish love and relationships are transactional for her. You see, I'm sure if I spend time on it and nitpick more, I could turn FL in a toxic monster. 😄😄😄! But I don't care about that. 😉

I like to put my grain of saltz. 🙂 Rewatch the breakup scene, the dialog has a logical flow leading to this. But it's the somewhat magic of this drama, ML lines often surprise me. Even I could expect it a bit, I was still surprised by the how and now. Of course, I love to be surprised. 😄
Seriously what is wrong with the ex? refuses to marry her, won't commit, instantly breaks ups with her. I really…
Should be said that he was frank about he can't get married. Then what she says to him imply she mostly see their relationship like a capitalization. It should hurts a bit. But in fine, he breaks-up because he thinks it's the best for her. Anyway the breakup scene was good. But we would need to copy-paste all the parts to see the whole scene in one go.
im really glad to see that everyone now sees how toxic and annoying ml is. and its NOT about her having a cute…
Well, a guy taking care of her day and night a few days would be toxic now. It's mostly he's bad at expressing anything + can't get rid of some others problems. If you go in this way, then FL is selfish and toxic. She profits of his help, not a little thing as she's enough happy to drop Hyeri disorder during this time. Then throws him away.
I may have missed it but what is the deal with JHO and the grandmas?
We don't know yet. Previous scene with that was confusing, short, with not much information we can take. I forgot everything. It was one of the few badly written scenes.
I bet for mostly a healing drama.Yep about EH-HO relationship. Instead to see one character or the other does…
I noticed Ep5 was a bit extended with secondary scenes, like anchors conflict. I even didn't take notes of that. I don't know what to take from that for the global narrative. At least, for now.
This drama is definitely making some unusual choices. Episode 5 was almost entirely drawing parallels between…
I bet for mostly a healing drama. Yep about EH-HO relationship. Instead to see one character or the other does bad. It's still failure because unresolved personnal issues. For EH of course, we know that a lot. But about HO it's still unclear. Maybe next episode will speak more about him.
The ex is the male lead, so it's unlikely that they will not be together at the end. Unless if it's 2521. Lol.
I second this. It jumped to me at end of Ep1. But also JP was such a mess so many time. Well, I end on that, off topic, lol, people already argued like mad about this.
he found the worst way ... that his girlfriend is a liar and a cheater ...
Unless he can guess she has split personnality, Yeah! I just met a weirdo woman playing with others feeling. He could take it like that. Tcham! Life is hard.

Just their modesty being on assault by the directing!

I'm mostly interested by stories, and dramatic stakes.
But also JP was such a mess so many time.

I think so. It's logical with previous episode.
