Ep6. after an argument FL - SML. Quick scene, Magical hacker and ML in a car. So we understand he takes him to hospital. Nice and short.
36:20. Return of crazy FL mother. Quite good. We don't get the end of the scene, I'm not sure it's good or bad. Mystery darkens, mother was paid by someone to put pressure on FL. Could be the SML, so she can cry on his shoulder after.
41:00: magical hacker doing magical hack, typing on keyboard (lol). Press space bar (ah!). It's quite clear what he does. Good mix of screen view and real view by the cams.
And revelation: attacker was In Joo dog. Motivation could be to help the other CEO young guy wanting to marry Hee Joo. And In Joo knows Hee Joo is interested by ML. So. Only, it wasn't done in good order, as the scene when In Joo have confirmation of Hee Joo feeling happens during this episode, so, AFTER the attack. Or he hides he already knows it?
44:30. Stupid FL makes a scene because granpa didn't asked her name, and ridiculous herself by being inpolite, as of course, granpa always knows everything. Then it's quite logic why he didn't asked her name at the start of episode. She double down with more nerve and ask for a real job. Then it was supposed to be a good move, as granpa could like this kind of direct person. I'm surprised the SFL doesn't say the FL is a nine-tailed fox. Anyway, the scene makes sens.
48:00. I don't know how many time passed, but ML is back on his feet, healed.
49:30. Goes to see In Joo' dog in a night club basement (he has drugs in his closet, well, the guy need a lot of painkillers as he's often beaten by In Joo). Tense scene. Then ML just gave information to his enemy he knows them. Is it really a smart decision?!!
53:00. Goes to see FL. Kind of tragic love scene where they say no. Kiss attempt. Fails. Drama song. Should be a real kiss after... (I write comments while watching in real time) YEAH. ahaha. I see things coming miles away now.
But In Joo' dog took photo of the scene. Nice!!! It's karma, ML was an arrogant fool to reveal them in first place.
59:00. FL still goes to marry SML. Aaaahhaaahhh..... Everybody looks at everybody in the room. We don't get the ceremony and the "yes", "yes". Goes to diner room after.
Mmmh, I'm thinking about that... The writer makes ML leave the room before, so it would be useless to show it. But the scene could be good with a glances between ML and FL when she's about to say yes. Moment of tension, will she does it or not? She says yes, then, emotion on ML face, and contradictatory emotion on FL face. Could be a good scene. Better than the one in the drama? Maybe.
1:02:00. Super-jerk ask FL to enter elevator, showing her photos of the kiss. haha.
1:03:00. Out of context, we have ML with blood on him, asleep on the floor of (hostel room?) It's an interesting trick. We don't know what happened, but he's with a knife and two dead people in the room. We guess it's a setup (he was probably drugged). What is surprising is they are In Joo and (his wife?). I like it as a cliffhanger.
The episode is better than some previous ones despite some slow moments. No boring chit-chat about obscure financial schemes, and giving what we wanted to have before as seeds.
Ep6. Follow a scene when FL goes to see ML at hospital. Holding hand "kajima". Right on point this time. Too bad it's a bit late. The tragic music is too good for this drama.
I've just noticed something horrible about FL - we can see the veins on her face. šØ Lot of veins on her hand too. š¬ She gives such a creepy feeling. Mix of robot, alien and zombie.
Follow scenes where everyone learn ML is at hospital. The one with the two brothers argument is a good one.
Except the first absurd plot-point, the episode is quite Ok for now. A bit slow.
15:25. Conflict SFL and FL. Nice! Alas too short.
Then it's quite boring... Nothing happens, ML sleep.
21:10: here we get the scene we needed before, SML spy ML and FL holding hands. The writer didn't spend enough time building doubts during the drama.
21:44: no dialog, SFL drink in one-go a full glass of whisky. ^^ Good transition with the guy (journalist?) making a coffee. He's boss of FL. Dialog/situation is better, she has to hide she's concerned.
I'm a bit worried about the actress condition. It's like there is no life in her.
26:00: good dramatic scene. SML is a jerk with ML. It should be clear now there is no friendship anymore (but I'm not sure there was any friendship at any time, maybe episode 1).
ML does crazy things and escape hospital in bad condition. Goes to see granpa, whose spend his episode time to give blessings (with condition). Maybe he could just use a smartphone a call granpa instead? š
ML in the street. Sick like death. Good directing. Ends at magical hacker home. Quite logic, he needs help to find his attacker.
This one is really funny in the drama, and not easy to catch. In short, the girl acts in an absurd way before, so the ML says "aigoo" as a polite way to says "looks like I will spend the day with a crazy one". š Just one word and the good intonation and you get that idea.
The writer lost her way with too much absurdity and parody (or self-parody), but I'll still try to watch that. What overdramatic spectacle will it be...?!
Ep6. Start with an etablishing shot (beautiful traditional house, excellent image) and then a problematic scene (short one), quite weak dialogue. Here is the point: previous episode, granpa is angry about the boys and about the half-son. But here, for no reason, instead he congratulates him and gives him a reward. HUH ??!!!
It alternates that and Tae Oh (quite nice). Then Kang In Ha ask to marry "a woman", grandpa agree even without knowing who. The shot shows Tae Oh smartphone with the FL calling (well, anyway, it was obvious he was speaking about her, but it's still nice to have that). It goes on Tae Oh (on the ground, after being attacked) and now there is a beautiful tragic music. Giving us the sens he have been betrayed, or In Ha steal his woman (with flashback of her). What is a good point. Also give us the sens that the henchman was paid by In Ha. Good.
I know exactly what is the intention of the writer here, but sadly it doesn't work, because we never trusted the maybe love story of the ML and the girl. Then it falls flat, a maybe a bit ridiculous.
It also giving the sens In Ha have to get rid of Tae Oh to marry the girl? Anyway, he's been in couple with her for... well, it should be 10 years now?! Did I miss some scenes?
Maybe it could work with some focus on her and Tae Oh during this time. Like she often regret to be with In Ha (but stays with him for ambition reason), and have some scenes when she try to reconnect with Tae Oh but can't go further, or when he makes her shows her real feeling but as she's gone in too much inner contradiction, she can't change her way and goes with him. And of course, In Ha spy that by chance (or just he ask someone to spy on her)... Anything giving evidence there is an hidden love story between the two ones. Then, we could get this situation. But here, meh......
I continue. I hope to see real bad shit. But for now it's mostly dull. And not easy to point out exactly why it doesn't work. A good case study. Lack of likeable characters first. Difficulty to stick to motivations? Not enough dramatic? Or boring static scenes of expositions about blurry financial schemes?
It's a makjang drama, hidding under a carpet of modern directing. As a slow makjang I prefered much more "Eve", focusing on overdramatism and a clear situation.
I started ep5 yesterday and I'm finishing it now, and have a problem:Granpa scold the two boys because they did…
56:40. A good scene, thanks to the jerk Kang In Joo. I didn't take note of all bad scenes and some better ones.
It ends with a mysterious attacker giving a stick blow on ML head. The purpose isn't clear... why the attacker cuts the phone call like it were a murder, or like he have something to say and doesn't want someone hear that? But instead he goes away.
I started ep5 yesterday and I'm finishing it now, and have a problem: Granpa scold the two boys because they did a "trap and manipulation". Looks like a serious matter.
By the way, during all the previous scenes, they make a big deal of this bad "trap and manipulation". But now... I've no idea what exactly is this trap and manipulation?!!
There were some dialog scenes when they speak about plans. It's quite dull and make me sleepy. But everything's blurry, so now I don't know what.
Looks like a complicated and vague business thing of magical finance. And during all the scenes after, they just say "you did a bad thing". And we never know what exactly is this bad thing out of nowhere.
Else, the episode was slow and dull. Many boring scenes. I also have trouble to care about characters...
First of all she is not professional actress 2nd yes she is just IG model and accused that she got rold wrong…
I've made a mistake to speak about Rowoon when it's not the subject of this drama. SORRY SORRY SORRY. I bend down and rub my hands in "ask for forgiveness posture". ššš
The comments here against FL are disgusting. You don't like her or her acting, it's ok but don't insult her like…
No. She should give up acting. She should also give up modeling because she's ugly. She should work in a farm, and be proud of it. (farmers are more useful for the world than actors).
It's like the script was throw away in a trash can in 2003. Then someone from the cleaning crew picked it up, and sold it to an amateur scriptwriter.
This scriptwriter proposed the script in 2008. It was again thrown into a garbage can. Thinking it was a mistake, this time the cleaning crew put the script in a script pile on a desk, without knowing what the pile was for. The next day, a producer put this pile in a cupboard: "crappy scripts to sell to a company producing crappy series".
In 2023, a producer saw that Disney only made crappy series and destroyed famous IP like Marvel or StarWars, pushing away any audience. So this producer offered them the script, thinking it was still a bit less crappy.
As Disney can't even rely on kdramas to make money (their only way to make money now), the company should bankrupt soon, and it will be a greater good for the world.
First of all she is not professional actress 2nd yes she is just IG model and accused that she got rold wrong…
. I watched Extraordinary You, where his acting was extraordinary lame. Then, it was the very one single actor I decided to ban. So of course, I didn't watch anything he did after. Else, the guy is handsome, no problem about that. Excellent model! š
