With ep1 very fast paced and straightforward I was wondering how they’re gonna continue. The plot picked up in ep3. Seeing where the direction of the show is going they made a good decision with 8 episodes.
HBD to this man! I only saw him in One Piece. This man is dangerous for my heart. Um how can some be handsome, cute, sexy, hot all at the same time?! He played Zoro on top of that. Cha Eun Woo you have found your match.
The shift in Han Dong Soo’s character was disturbingly realistic. Given all the circumstances (especially how emotionally attached he was to his mother and how her dying words were key in making his decision) ik some people will choose to blame all their problems on poverty. Unlike Seo Do Young, greed wasn’t the only motivation for him. how twisted, entitled and selfish he became at the end sacred me. They should’ve explored and showed more of the dark side of HDS. There were too many time skips at the end so the impact wasn’t as good as it should’ve been. In the beginning I was intrigued by the violent and unpredictable character Kim Young Kwang was playing but HDS stole the spotlight at the end. I’m too lazy and not eloquent enough to describe how disturbing Han Dong Soo character is. Hopefully someone who feels the same will elaborate in the future 🥲
I started this for the A-listers and fell in love with Lee Joo Young. She’s so chill yet considerate and makes everyone around her feel comfortable so naturally. I really like her personality.
At this point, this is a comedy. I don't remember the last I laughed so hard at the "reveal".So entertaining as…
Fr. It's hilarious and entertaining. The insane plot twists, dramatic acting and that ridiculous wig! That goofy K invitation send to Mone in ep 12 had me cackling.
Even without the cast change I doubt Eunseom will remain ‘pure’. It makes sense that he has matured after…
Hence the time skip. Eunseom would’ve realistically become like this with years of war. Even I prefer Euseom change naturally without the time skip. But S1 wasn’t a success. They have done an excellent job wrapping it up with what they were given. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see how they change. It makes sense for Tanya and Eunseom to change but Tagon &Taealha to remain the same. They have been through war since they were young. It’s the same shit with different enemy. So naturally there won’t be any huge character development. However Tanya and Eunseom lived in a different world which was turned upside down by Arthdal.

You sounded like you were disappointed that Eunseom’s character didn’t felt as pure. Years of war hardened him so it makes sense that he became more cunning like Saya/Tagon. He has to, he’s leading an army, he’s up against Arthdal kingdom. That being said, he cared about people of Wahan till the end. It’ll simply be unconvincing for that naive and ‘pure’ Euseom to still exist. He’ll incompetent for the throne.
I enjoyed this season too but change of cast made me feel different about the characters as well. Eunsom's character…
Even without the cast change I doubt Eunseom will remain ‘pure’. It makes sense that he has matured after so many hardships. He has seen death of his loved ones, been betrayed by ones he vowed to save. Also there was a time skip. He united Ago tribe and was waging war with freaking Arthdal king! It’ll be frustrating to see his character still being ‘pure’ or just like we saw in s1. He will be crushed. Lee Joon Ki did a phenomenal job. Tanya was hardly there throughout the series? Which is a shame because I loved her in last few episodes.
