They’re more popular globally because of Hallyu wave. I do agree that some of the cdramas are sub par compared to average kdrama. I don’t watch cdramas often but every now and then the ones I watch are leagues above some of the most popular kdramas. Nowadays it’s rare to find kdramas that are as good as the cdrama ones, maybe it’s just me.

Got curious of the infamous comment section. It is toxic! I hesitated to write anything negative about this drama when it just started airing because ik crazy fans will attack me and I don’t dislike the drama enough to start any discourse.
Thanks to the haters and trolls I can finally say this- It’s the same recycled fantasy romcom kdrama. I didn’t drop it as I didn’t have anything to watch while it was airing. KYJ as a CEO isn’t convincing for me. I think her hair and make up is exactly the same as her last few roles, correct me if I’m wrong. In few scenes where she switched up her makeup she does look like her part. I didn’t like Song Kang in this role and I hated the styling. Overall, I struggled to finish this drama.

Wth was ep 9?! Zero development and not a singl enjoyable part. It’s going around in circles again. This is getting frustrating now. Just when though the plot is starting to pick up in the last few eps sigh. I could’ve just skipped the episode and it would make no difference.
Do we really need 9 episodes of FL being confused, lost and weak to understand her mental illness? It’s the same thing over and over again with little development. The only reason I’m not dropping this is because I want to see sfl to suffer. Also, SML is gorgeous but his scenes are boring. The bond /chemistry between him and FL is not convincing at all. Idk what backstory they have but I’m not shipping any guy with a married woman. They’re forcing a possible romantic relationship between them which I find super annoying. I hope they remain good friends in the end.

Just starting the drama. I ship her with all three of them. Xie Wei is hot and Yan Lin is the bestest boi. But I’m a sucker for characters like Zhang Zhe.

Ep5. Also Min younng.. GIRL you hit the jackpot wth 😭 I would’ve melted like butter if I were her. when Jin Seok gave her space yet making her feel secure by saying he’ll try to win her over and will even make it less obvious. Ugh manly, emotionally intelligent, secure and just overall a solid guy.

Ep 5, 4:57 who tf eats apple like that? Who eats anything like that?! The slow eye batting while “eating” the apple and flirtatiously looking up at Gwan hee. Gyu Ri keeps giving me secondhand embarrassment right from the start. Idk how she is irl but she’s so fake in this show.

I get what they’re trying to do but 4 episodes is too much. At least at the end of ep4 there is some kind of revelation/realisation. Hopefully it won’t go around in circles again and the plot will take off from there.

This show is going around in circle. Same thing every episode. FL gets confused, is harmed, suspects a person but turns out to be wrong and loses her mind, on repeat.

Replayed their kiss scene an unhealthy amount of times. So happy for my man 😭

The satisfaction when Yuan Qi finally saw through Hua Shu’s manipulation and lies and he put her in place. ML looked fine as hell.

I couldn’t wait for this to finish airing! Now I can’t wait for the new episodes to come out. Someone please tell me how is ALP? I want to watch it while I wait for TLI. From what I’ve seen from comments it sounds like a good one. But even if it’s good I don’t want to start it if it has draggy episodes.

I was skeptical about starting a fantasy/historical cdrama because the ones I’ve watched and even loved become super draggy at some point (except for very few). I’m glad I gave it a go for Lusi. It’s really good. I liked the pacing, plot and characters. It’s worth whatever the hype it’s getting.

I don’t hate him but deserves to suffer for hurting Ayin intentionally or not.

Ugh I hope the ML, immortals, peacock lady and the the envoy suffers! Poor A Yin

Omg just about to to start ep 25. I hope he suffers. He broke my girl’s heart way too many times.
