I see a lot of people going off about Kim Young Dae (me, I'm one of them, he's amazing). But PYJ is sooo good…
PYJ esp as HRT! Han Ri Ta is very different from Young Hwa yet she made it seem so natural incorporating the 2 characters. I think a lot of people’s gripe is with Kang Young Hwa. She was cute in the beginning but her character fell off in the second half for me.
Eps 9 & 10 were dragging. Glad they picked it up in ep 11. The historical part feels much more high quality than the present day scenes. Even if we’re getting crumbs I enjoy watching every single moment from the past life. The last episode reminded me of Moon Lovers. I should go watch it again and cry my eyes out.
I don’t like future time travel trope (okay with past). Nevertheless I’m starting this drama because i cannot say no to Lee Se Young in sageuk (even though it’s only a small part).
No one knows she is the daughter of Gaya’s general except him and his step son. He knows his step son likes…
In the previous episode Doha was getting recognition after winning wars for the kingdom. The king started to favour Doha over his step father. His step father grew jealous and insecure that he might not be able to control Doha if Doha gained power and connection in the future.
What exactly is the reason his step-dad wants them to get married? It won't give him any good by doing so, right?…
No one knows she is the daughter of Gaya’s general except him and his step son. He knows his step son likes the girl so he used her as a leash to gain back control over his step son. If the king learns about her identity he can just feign ignorance. Either way it’s a win for him
Few more minutes. Can’t wait to see Kim Young Dae in traditional attire again! I didn’t find him this charming in forbidden marriage but I’m obsessed with him in this drama.
