I couldn’t care less about who got some job done but damn the actress has become a completely different person. For some reason it’s giving me an ick. She was pretty then in 18 again and now too. I’ll try to convince myself that this is a different person altogether.

Kim Hye Soo’s acting is exceptional! The way she changed her voice and mannerism when she was playing her younger self is perfect. Idk why I put off watching this drama for so long!
As for Lee Je Hoon I like him better in Taxi Driver. I can see how much he has improved since Signal.

Good binge, 7/10. -0.5 because of FL

I’m obsessed. Definitely rewatching it again. it’s been forever since I rewatched a kdrama. Even at ep10 it doesn’t fail to pull my heartstring, make me laugh and all giddy. Sol is too cute and Sun Jae… ahhh

finished ep1. was it even 1hour? it’s so fun to watch.

I have been putting off this drama quite a while because the ML is super good looking and the FL is well.. lacking a lot in the visual department. I finally convinced myself to watch without any prejudice. Idk about you guys but apart from her character and voice being annoying, I find her acting unconvincing and cringey. I’m gonna drop the drama. At this point I’m thinking, is she from a rich and influential family? How did she even land a role alongside Dylan Wang?

Min Do Hyuk is a dumbass. Never liked him from s1. He still hasn’t changed. He acts all tough and then ends up exposing the deepest secret in the enemy’s lair where security is the highest and everything is caught on cctv. I was sceptical when he started the revenge and boy he didn’t fail to disappoint me. I genuinely hope he dies along with Mone. What kind of revenge is he taking when he has feelings for the human trash who started everything? The writers are really pushing the romance between him and Mone and forcing us to sympathise Mone? that won’t happen. She had a tough childhood but that doesn’t give her the right to bully and ruin people’s life. No sympathy for these two.

Nah I hated him from the first season. all bark but no bite. that hasn’t changed since s1. never saw him as the main protagonist the writers were pushing. The romance part feels forced and doesn’t make sense either.

in hidden love the child actress ruined it for me, probably because she lacks experience. but the ml and fl we’re so good.

YES. The fact that the daughter couldn’t stay apart from her dad for a single day. Yet she didn’t even mention him after he passed away, let alone missed him. it’s like they never knew each other. At first I thought I missed an entire episode or smth. I’m finding it really hard to get through the episodes after that.The husband’s twin was mentioned but they just left it like that. Still can’t figure out if Tae Oh is a good guy or not. It seems like they are forcing romance between him and FL, which is so hard to watch.
Unless there is a twist and they address all these again, idek what was point of introducing that plot device. Not sure how they’ll wrap it up in 2eps.

The only character at this point that I empathise and root for is Akhee. The reason I’m not invested in this drama is because of the main characters Sajo Hyun and Yeon Wol. In the beginning both had their own struggles and traumas. But all of that lost focus and became mixed up with palace politics, the magical aspect, all at the same time. Apart from the stiff acting of fl, Yeon Wol character has fallen off after the former king died. Yeon Wol’s character feels more like a side character now whose life revolves around the king. Same for Sajo Hyun. It’s just planning to take down Sajo Yoong and missing each other, on repeat with them. I always see Akhee as a fun character but liked Sajo Hyun more in the beginning.
I agree with many people who feels like everything is mixed up. I don’t think the plot is messy but the execution definitely is.

I’ll watch it someday when I’m mentally stable to take tragic endings again 🤧

oh no journey to love has tragic ending? I was gonna drop Till the end of the moon because of tragic ending and start JTL.

I hope they go more into SL couple’s storyline to keep the drama interesting. Comedy is subjective, I love the over the top comedy, which I totally understand some might find cringey. I wished they showed more of the flashbacks in the beginning because I love the academic rivals trope. However at this point I also don’t think it’s necessary anymore (unless it’s relevant to the mystery part of the plot) because they have pretty much shown everything.
