Qiqi and Song's relationship is an ongoing one. Her Dad is a General and she went with him to war. (That's why she is so spunky.) QiQi's Dad is also good friends with Song's Dad so yes they interacted in other places. Remember at the beginning when she first appeared Song was telling Niao Niao all about QiQi. He's known her for a while.♥

Yes but how does she really feel about CSS? I can't figure Consort Yue out quite yet.♥

Yes I heard that too. Time travel shows are now a no no in China. So they probably changed it to what we see now. I think that explains her interest in building things and architecture ahead of her time. ♥

She is really putting a kibosh to LBY and his cohorts plan to depose the Crown Prince and bring in 3rd Prince. He is going to need to out think her to accomplish his ends. Maybe 3rd Prince should be nice to CSS so she will help him. We shall see how it plays out. hahahahaha♥

Yah I know there are flaws but I always take the good with the bad in every C Drama I watch. The productions are not flawless a bit like a real on stage production. However, with that said some are more sloppy than others. This production has very few slip ups. Just a bit with some continuity which is normal I've noticed. ♥

Did anyone notice YS coming to the engagement and how he was ready for action. When the Old Consort arrived he was pleased and said I don't have to worry now. His jaw was on the ground when the old consort and her friend were escorted out under guard. He dodged a bullet there. hahahahaha♥

Yes there is more to her than meets the eye with the crown princess. I am beginning to see more trouble ahead. I also can see why LBY will take CSS's punishment if this keeps up. It's a lesson on what you do affects others you care about and how married couples are one. ♥

Yah, it's definitely not a 0 to 100 miles another instant gratification crowd. Boy meets girl and they fall into each others arms then work out the details later. hahahaha ♥

If you notice in the flaming princess scene he saw what she did and it played right into his plot to expose the princess's "way of making money". Her brother comes forward with the minted money. LBY is his backer. So maybe she played the pawn unwittingly. Hence the scene who else was at the tower? << She asked him outright.♥

The age 18 to 24 group is tanking it. Too complex for them to enjoy. You can check at the top by the ratings there is a place to click and get the stats. ♥

LBY is complicit in all of this from the bridge incident to now. She is stubbornly hanging on to her revenges. I think she maybe she is secretly hoping they'll kick her out so she can live how she wants. OR LBY sicked her on the palace on purpose. << part of his revenge. hahahahaha Alas, I don't think that will happen. The whole story would go south. It's more fun this way.♥

It all comes down to trust between 2 people. He did drop her into the Palace. I don't think he thought it through very well. Knowing her personality. She doesn't trust him either so I think they are pretty even in their distrust. Trust is the main thing in any relationship. CSS is learning to trust on so many levels. Her parents, Empress, LBY and so on. The trust will come but first.... ♥

I agree. Niao Niao was dropped into it by LBY and is only reacting naturally to her own character. How the heck is she to know what the H E double hockey sticks is going on. No one told her and they are keeping their cards close to their chests. So it rolls. I don't think LBY thought it through when he proposed. ♥

All I can say is yes and billions of others have started watching. I personally, having watched hundreds of C Dramas, think this one will become a classic. It's well done. If you are looking for fluff then it's not for you. If you enjoy a show with depth of character and well directed by all means give it a shot.
