I'm loving this show! The main characters aren't weak and have their own reasons and strategies. The villain in this case, I can't really tell who it is. It feels like they want the Marquis to be the bad guy, but surely he's not powerful enough to be the big bad. So, even though the Empress seems to be straddling this neutral line, I assume she'll be the final bad guy?
I can't wait for the reveal of what happened in the mountain that caused everyone's death and I'm glad that now her senior knows. I'm sure, for her, it was a lot to bear. being the only person to know that everyone on that mountain has passed away yet she couldn't tell anyone in order to keep the facade that everything is okay in order to exact her revenge plan. even fooling herself. 😭
and wait, does that dude actually care for his half brother? him actually trying to warn him that someone's trying to kill him surprised me lol
rewatching it so jumped my rating up to a 8.5 haha if I like it enough to go back and watch it, then it goes from my normal 8 to 8.5. there are really sweet moments even though I like the show more for JuniorMark than OhmPoon.
Honestly, ep 3 was amazing! The storytelling and Barth's character was definitely someone Tanrak really needed and would fall for. He's straightforward and teasing and Tanrak, though hesistant, always ends up smiling and enjoying Barth's teasing. The kiss scene, wow. It started off soft enough with just enough hesitation and then they really just dove in. It really showcased Tanrak's words in the preview about not being able to control himself - because while Barth started that session, Tanrak certainly ended it.
Super happy and proud of both Gem4 too! Their acting was far from bad in MSP, but it really shines here.
I'm a little scared of where it goes from here though 🫣 hoping that since its GMMTHEEV, that it'd be a happy ending but... just that maybe it would be a open ending scares me LOL I want them happy.... together!

The regret but also excitement of starting this!! was continuously chuckling throughout the episode and now im sad cause it just started so now we all sit here and wait 😭😭😭

just started watching episode 1 and it's hilariously cringe but also cute. I've never watched the original Japanese version but so far this version is funny and cute. I haven't watched TayNew in a BL (watched Peaceful Property), so excited to see their chemistry ahead of A Dog and A Plane releases!
If they do do a season 3, I just need them to do it with either ships that are okay being messy or with folks not in a fixed ship since then it adds some suspense on whether or not a couple will actually get together. I liked season 2 for RomeRaffy and Mix/Dean and loved season 1 cause of SandRay, BostonNick, and the actually toxicity of it all. Season 2 felt kind of like the PG version of season 1 when it came to being actually messy. I enjoyed it for what it was.
Not sure how I feel about JackDean getting back together. im glad they got time apart at least to figure things out 🤷🏻♀️

On the 3rd episode and so far, it's simple, sweet, sexy, and slightly toxic. Will see how that changes as it progresses. The leads have really cute chemistry together and plenty of NC/kissing with sounds - watch with caution hahaha
its a sweet story with a little bit of action and sadness. mix's acting is sooo good. hard to believe that this was his debut in acting! always love seeing Khaotung as well. also, the scene in episode 10 with Tian's mom after seeing Phupha cracks me up. in contrast to how his father and friend reacts 🤣
