rewatching for fun and the rain confrontation scene in ep 5 always gets me. Just how its framed and how they're both smart people that are just trying to do the best thing for their people.
why are cdrama fans so obsessed with other people’s ratings this feels like a cult sorry but i even got two…
Lol its funny cause I actually start off most shows giving it an 8 unless I dropped it real quick or it was a super impressive start. I adjust as I continue watching. didn't realize people would actually DM folks to change ratings when the show hasn't even finished airing LMAO or actually ever since everyone has their personal preference and opinions on shows they watch
just finished UJ and just started this and Generation to Generation lol I cant tell if I like this or not. I usually stay away from more comedic dramas and this has a bit of a less serious tone than most shows I watch and its throwing me off a bit lol the leads are cute together though. and i like their characters. lol He's acts more online with a historical character than she does even though they're both transmigrators haha
So far, so good. With how the characters are listed, we know that the fake Chang Ning is the "dead" young master of the Demon Sect? I guess the question now is how did he end up at the Chang Fort, was it intentional, why he's so loyal to his "father", and seemingly, he doesn't believe it's the Demon Sect's doing. edit: nvm. lol finished ep 5.
I think the actors are doing fine and the story is interesting enough. did the ML know the FL before they met at the beginning of this whole thing?
I love Peiyi, but we all knew the answer wasn't to just outright kill the Right Chancellor. That would prove nothing except for the fact that she went crazy, poisoned a bunch of officials and then killed a high ranking one. I also hate that Huaijin stopped her, but someone had to and it was right that the one who loved her and wanted a life with her would do so. If he hadn't, he possibly could've lost her if she was punished with death.
and yeah yeah, he was dramatic and said that she ruined his marriage and he ruined her revenge and they're even, but i think he was just butthurt by her lies. We know she didn't mean what she said and he deep down also knows she didn't mean it, but words do hurt, especially when said convincingly and with enough conviction. People will still be hurt before they truly think about it and try to really unravel it. I mean, bro is heartbroken and laid up in bed because of it.
I hope they get their happy ending, but for some reason I like to add pain to this and have her get her revenge and get killed and have him be in angst. LMAO sorry, I kidding. but I also don't know if I just have so much mistrust in these shows now, but I still don't trust the consort. lol why do I feel like she's the true mastermind behind all this and she was trying to figure out if Peiyi was going to leave the capital to go kill her brother, so that she has time to either kill Peoyi before she finds out or have her framed for killing the right chancellor lol
these 2 are so sweet together and how they've naturally changed to calling each other by their first names. swoon. I also think the characterization of them from childhood until now has been crazy on point. we can clearly see from their childhood scenes that they've had the same personalities when they first met until now. they both grew up so well and it made me a bit sad thinking how lovely it would've been if her family weren't killed and they got married with both loving parents in the picture. because while Huaijin's dad is strict, he clearly loves his son and even Peiyi. he was just worried that it might bring harm to his family associating with her but once he understood there's no stopping his son and how it's morally correct to help Peiyi, he did so. I honestly believe they would've still grew up and liked each other haha he literally joined and chose a career just because she asked him a question he didn't have the answer to 🤣
Throughout Luo YunXi’s artistic journey, this is the drama with the best camera work / cinematography so far.It…
the professors motives were so weak when you put it in perspective that he killed so many people and caused so many other issues to remedy what? his wife's additiction? and he was even willing to drug his student's gf and then caused her death. he got what he deserved when the other dude didn't shoot him but his wife. an eye for an eye moment.
watched it a second time years later and I quite enjoyed it. from the beginning we knew their relationship was doomed. they were on 2 opposite ends where he learned how to fix problems by killing off those that were evil and she stood for the structural justice system that he believed would fail them. for a raised assassin, he still held onto not killing the young and innocent and even had the finial piety to care for the man who raised him. their chemistry was there. the story felt a bit too convoluted at times but was engaging enough to keep me going. the action scenes with JKY were great. not sure if he had a body double but those long limbs really made the scenes look slick and cool. overall, still had fun watching it again.
loving it so far! the beginning made me cry and now it feels like a light hearted romance with a baby thrown in haha I've generally enjoyed the ML actor, so no comment here. for the FL actress, she's hit or miss for me. in this, I think she's doing fine. I do think she's definitely changed her appearance quite a bit over the few dramas I've watched from her, but I'm quite neutral on the change and think most of it has to do with growing up and losing her cheek fat (maybe more but im not here to assume what she has and hasnt done). she also seems to have lost a bit of weight, so that could also attribute to her slimmer and sharper features. overall, I'm still enjoying the show and the baby is sooooo cute haha how can the uncle ever look at him and just walk away?!
I cried before her master even died since I got spoiled by online clips. but dang, her master was a badass. these dudes just out here poisoning people. ðŸ˜
