The only difference is armin is trying to redeem everything unlike Joe who was like "mai pen rai khrab" and did…
Oh yeah no doubt. I think Armin differs much from Joe since Armin is actually pretty ambitious about his career both in the past life and the present life, whereas Joe starts as a stuntman and he has a very sabai sabai attitude about his acting career even if he's totally serious about his action stunts. Not to say that being ambitious is a bad/good thing but that distinguishes clearly how Joe/Armin takes very different approaches to their second life I think. Joe seems much calmer in accepting his predicament/status quo after rebirth.
I must be the only person who enjoy seeing Armin running around telling everyone about the future like he's a fortune teller. I think it's a nice departure from the typical time travelling main leads who would easily locate the system and try to navigate it calmly. Armin was pretty much enduring in his last life so I like seeing him blowing up at people and reacting to things in this life.
If anyone has seen My Stand-In, this Armin really reminds me whenever Joe gets angry after his rebirth which was rare but stellar moments which I enjoyed. Love that confronting energy here for Armin.
Disgusting behavior really. Downgrading a drama just because it's getting a little bit of recognition when this drama doesn't even have a fanbase nor a fixed pairing or super popular actors. The abuse of this rating system is genuinely unacceptable I wish the mods and admins would look into this arbitrary and unfair mass downvoting 🫤
wait i didn't understand the phone call with Itt in ep 5.. so is he being blackmailed..? any theories?
Someone is ordering Itt to connect MP Phuwish and Keen. That person will somehow harm MP Phuwish through this project that MP Phuwish and Keen has started together.
Ok, I've watched it but I'm confused. TD makes me confused. The guy that said we were never friends feels like…
I don't think TD threw away the flowers though, the panning away shot made it seemed to look that way but you still see TD/Thada's secretary giving Armin his flowers after the ceremony. To which Armin asked if he could meet TD at least once.
The grant statement also says for projects to be considered, they need to (1) promote works that show variety and internationally competitive quality, OR (2) promote generation of employment and revenue for the industry, OR (3) showcase cultural worth and reflect and publicize the Thai identity to the international stage.
Clearly, THACCA has found Reset's submission to qualify one of the criteria above and because it's submission-based so we have no idea of what other BL series submitted for the grant but didn't get it.
You can put them in the discussion so they don't get lost in the comments.
oooh that's good idea. thank you i should do that before the comments are flooded again, it's great to see many people tuning in considering how quietly this came out and their first ep screening having many empty seats 😭
My edits of the crew haven't been accepted so writing down the credits here for those interested
Reset Screenwriters: Director A Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod, Bangpahn Homjan (Walailuck), Kusolin Mekviphat
Works that Walailuck and Kusolin have written together (not exhaustive because MDL credits are unreliable): Pluto, Ploy's Yearbook, Sao Noi Roi Mic, Dear Doctor, I'm Coming for Soul, Kong Puan Kuan Luea Chuea, My Gear and Your Gown
Executive Producer is Nong Arunosha Panupan - CEO of Broadcast Thai Television (the production company that typically makes CH3 lakorns). I feel like I should include this because I feel like BL watchers often underestimate the influence power an executive producer has over the drama especially one that owns/organises/produces it.
Reset has that strong lakorn flavor, most likely comes from the fact that P'Nong envisions it as such but it's also much tighter paced than your average lakorn since there are only 10 EPs (at least from what we've seen from EP1).
this is everything i've ever wanted from a ch3 lakorn. a lakorn in its truest fashion. i feel like many ppl here are gonna be disappointed if they're awaiting an indie vibes 180 degree-like project here bc the credits should say enough abt the kind of series this is. like of course, if you're expecting something groundbreaking, you're probably not gonna find it here but i've been waiting for a series that ticks off all my dream cliche lakorn tropes done right with charming leads so this series feels personally made FOR ME
For a change I've watched a 1 hour episode without skipping any scenes. It's giving lakorn vibes despite the fact…
It is made by Broadcast Thai Television who produces some of the most famous lakorns for CH3 like Love Destiny or Cupids series. I think it should feel like a lakorn because I believe that's the vibes they are going for.
June 1 is Sunday, so why it says the show will air on Mondays? So on which day it'll air?
It airs officially on Monday June 2. June 1 is because they are holding an early premiere screening at cinema for fans to buy tickets to watch it there with the cast. So for those of us watching online, it's June 2 and every Monday night on iQIYI 😁
If the quality of this remains the same, it will go to my all-favourites list. It's so good.I love Keen, he's…
Keen is probably the only person with most rational sense in this series. Love that Keen is really quick-witted even though he seems fragile and sensitive. So glad Thun changed his mind because I really didn't want to watch Keen having to announce that press release
Let's get this straight ' Reset ' is not starring Noh Phouluang Thongpaseuth and Peterpan Tadsapon Wiwitawan but…
Peterpan is an actor with free will. He's not here to serve delusional fixed pairing. He's just being an actor and doing his job. Pan and Noh are still good friends.
i loveeeee bright norraphat as jay but not even kao and her acting skills could save the one dimensional character…
Like Annita has a whole tragic background, started from the bottom now she's on top. If this was any other lakorn, they would have totally made her a FL
There are two guys who have feelings for each other and they end up together. But not BL in the conventional sense of a series with two guys being very lovey dovey with each other. There's little romance but it's definitely there. It's more a travel/tourism themed mini series.
i wish i could enjoy this but atp im just staying on for the side couple maprang and ker. they better end this…
i loveeeee bright norraphat as jay but not even kao and her acting skills could save the one dimensional character that is phitcha. i feel like cha's only personality is that she's a rebellious youngest child in an overprotective family and kao has played a few interations of this character archetype in her past lakorns so phitcha feels... underwhelming and for a lack of better word boring even. i don't wanna comment on chemistry bc idk i feel like that's pretty subjective and arbitrary but i do find myself not very emotionally invested/convinced by the leads' romance (i cant even blame this on writing bc jay/phitcha has some damn swoon worthy lines) to the point where i've started rooting for jay/annita even when annita is pretty toxic and controlling =)))))))))))
