I've been reading some of the complaints on weibo and one thing is true, this drama has barely been promoted despite its popularity, and the CP also hasn't done much promo (magazine, variety show, etc) Is it because it's a yuzheng drama? Or is it just youku incompetence thing?

normally for dramas this popular, the network would increase the amount of episodes to air at the end, but youku chose to decrease. the theory is they did it to get as much ad revenue as possible. I saw some fans say that if they're doing that they should make sure theres a fan meeting that's scheduled for all the cast members to be present
