literally none of them are good options, that's the tragedy of this whole thing. xiang liu is the most compatible bc they seem the most alike imo (it's also why it seems he's the one he gives her the most honest advice out of the leads). but he chose his loyalty first even to a doomed end. it's set in stone, and even when xy asked him several times to choose, he never waivered from that loyalty. jing ended up being the only left over choice because he's unfettered unlike the other 2. but his spinelessness will always make him unlikeable to me. in conclusion she should've continued to live the rest of her days as a man lol
this is definitely going to be zwy's season..the slow decent into madness has already started, and I can;t believe xy is still oblivous to his feelings. or maybe she's pretending to be. that line where he said wherever you go i'll bring you back legit sounded like a threat lol. and xiang liu my poor snakey..kinda want to shake him by the shoulders and ask him if his old loyalty is really worth it
They are. However, they fail to make him likable enough that we can't even pity him. He's just pure annoyance.
True. I hate when directors try to promote actors in this way because most of them never have the acting chops to steal the spotlight from the leads and their story. Or liek you said the write the character in such a way that does not make you want to empathize with them
(impatiently) waiting. I can't help the feeling that i'll be left feeling a bit disappointed (because of the characters I'm rooting for and also I'm 100% sure it will be rushed) but I really have to see this one through. this came out at an unfortunate time when the 40-ep rule came into play, because I'm still of the belief that breaking it up took away alot of the enjoyment
alright my curiosity is killing me. I know most of the script in this scene are ~innuendos~ but what does “我灯笼🏮高高挂起 mean? can any native speakers help me out and tell me what is implied by these lines (and why they're laughing lol)
