Thank you. I thought it was just me. I'm watching this and thinking they need to be cast together in a Romantic genre drama because they got that something something. I'm here for it if they are cast together. Like I'm waiting with my popcorn for the announcement :-)

I know there's no romance in this drama but the chemistry between the ML and FL is strong. And I love the ML his acting. The way he conveys a lack of attachment or understanding of it but his desire to protect the FL is automatic. He obviously isn't trying to hurt anyone especially her. I love it.

I'm loving this thus far. And my heart so aches for the ML. Can we all just surround him and give him a group hug. This drama is everything. Rating should be higher.

Do they marry at the end of the novel. Just trying to figure out if I should continue to watch this. I love it but I want a happy ending with them two together, married with kids. I love this couple.

Agreed. He's quite spineless and just ridiculous. I knew when she'd been put in danger for the 2nd time and he came to rescue her while she was trying to serve the people and stand with those protecting her and the city. I was like he really thinks she's gonna leave. I knew then he was just a waste of handsome, sad and just useless as a man. Not to mention the whole family aspect. I mean they are first cousins. I know that was common during these times but yuck.

With his personality. I never expected he would ever love her or keep her around because he already knows the betrayal she's capable of. His love for Awu seems genuinely protective at time yet obsessive so I knew after today he wouldn't keep her around. He's going to use her and make sure he keeps her far from Awu if he succeeds which we know he will not but the way he loves Awu - he for sure wouldn't even take her as a concubine. Nope she can't be trusted. I mean she tricked him into the one night they had. He is aware of her trickery. She's pitiful.

Yeah I noticed that too. So it's looking that way which makes me really sad.

Preparing myself for the heartbreak now. I sure hope this ends better than Joy of Life. I'm still in shock about the ending even though I know ML isn't dead and the whole thing at the end was probably his plan but it broke me. My husband said he was done with Asian dramas after that. I had just got him into watching them with me and that one broke him. He felt betrayed by the second prince and everything. I got him kind of interested in this one but the same dude that betrayed us in Joy of Life is doing it again. I don't think he can take it. Lol. I'm gonna let him know because he's been keeping up with it or at least letting me keep him abreast on what's happening. He seems to like it but he's not gonna be able to take the betrayal because we both like General Song. This won't do. My heart is aching right now. Why???? Why it's got to have so much betrayal and sad endings. I cannot do a sad ending.. Ugghh..

Yes I had fallen in love with his character. He seemed like a true boy to the general. But now he lusting after his woman. At first I understood how he could develop feelings for her but I thought they were innocent and he would keep them in check. I mean he fought side by side with her, he saw her wisdom at work and saw her serving the people. That's enough to make a man catch feelings. I was fine with that as long as he didn't cross the line. The general figured it out and simply to him to get it in check. But now he's married the sweet like foster sister of the General and he doesn't even love her. All he sees is Awu. And as I was watching episode 45 he just seemed to have that look of betrayal and feeling himself in his eyes. He had that I have arrived who can challenge me look. Wrong move. Wrong move my guy. SMH. These men.

Uggh. That's disappointing. The guy playing him keeps disappointing me with his characters. Lol. I loved him in Joy of Life. I thought he was the coolest prince - then turns out he is the mastermind and biggest betrayer. I was so hurt. I felt that betrayal. Ugh. Now he's gonna do it again as General Song. My heart. oh my aching heart. I love General Song. I really loveded him. Lol..

Xiao Qi and Awu are just trying to live their best peaceful life. But everybody wants to kill them. Really? I mean these folk got enemies all around them. Her family at that? The scheming. Goodness give them some rest. The betrayal, plots, subplots, ridiculousness and foolery of it all. Let them be. I want to fight everybody. And then the delusion of all these me who think killing Xiao Qi is gonna give them a chance with Awu. SMH. The foolery.

Man I love this drama. I still wanna fight tho.. LOL.

One annoying manipulative female gone. Now let's get rid of Jin'er. She has worked my last nerve. She think the 3rd prince wants her and he does not. Not at all.
