RANDOM THOUGHTS: - Kiho Mom, young Kiho and Kang Bo-geol have some resemblance, it's uncanny, and of course young Mokha and present Mokha are perfectly casted too! - It's refreshing to see the actor playing Jung brothers' stepdad (Lee Joong Ok) have a kind person and father support role this time, and not his usual villain or country side side character in previous dramas - Do you think Mokha, Ranjoo and Morae could end up as friends in the end? I hope so.
I don't usually watch modern dramas; however, this one was a mix of modern and costume and the plot grabbed my…
From Now On, Showtime also had some notable past life dialogue between main lead couple. This one may have different story but the execution gives the same feels and chills, at least for me. Great acting from 2 leads there and in this drama too.
Same Same, I don't find the acting of KYD that bad like some commenters below, I think he makes justice to the…
I didn’t realize that this is PYJ’s first main lead role! Thanks for pointing that out. I assumed I only missed some of her main role dramas. Turns our this is the first one. She’s so pretty!
Main point said, read on for my opinion… I took interest in this drama because of Pyo Ye Jin whom I’ve liked since WWWSK, more so in Taxi Driver series. I was hesitant about Kim Young Dae though, whom I have only seen in Sh**ting Stars. To be honest, that script reading scene is similar to what I expected from KYD. But I actually underestimated him. Both are on par and are performing well in this drama. The plot is not that confusing compared to the other 2023 historical reincarnation dramas. The irony of the “love-revenge story” is expressed well in the lines between Do Ha and Ri Ta. And I can’t help but be curious about how the romance will unfold both in the past and in the present. IMO, the drama seems not heavy so far but as early as now, I could say that I won’t mind if it ends tragically.
Other drama posters leave clues about the main couple, or sometimes the main couple get photoshoots or interviews, but this one: no clue whatsoever. For me, at least. I am actually Team Woo Hak with a theory that Bo Geol went after Mok Ha knowing that she was bait for the abusive father to find out where Ki Ho is. Among the brothers, since it is Woo Hak who lost memories, Bo Geol probably wants to protect his brother. I am hoping that Woo Hak's flashbacks are actually his own (as Ki Ho).
But then again, oftentimes the actual story is different from my theories, so yeah. Bo Geol could actually be Ki Ho. ^^'
Sim Jung Woo always has a heart ache whenever he sees two soulmates together, so I guess he’s the matchmaker…
Better mark this as spoiler for those who haven't started the drama yet, but yes, I agree with your observation. I noticed that too. I do hope he finds out soon.
6/12: Except for the love lines, I am liking this overall, so far. The parts where they highlight and explain mental health conditions, with visualizations and all are the best parts.
Hmm… I can say it’s good but unless you are fan of any of the actors in the drama, or a fan of time travel tropes, you won’t have much of a reason to give effort in understanding the confusing parts. Jeon Yeo Been is excellent in it. If you want to see for yourself then I suggest you watch it. Twinkling Watermelon is a much enjoyable watch though.
5/16 • I already have a feeling that the Se Gyeong who “returned” from the US is actually Se Gyeong’s “rebellious” daughter. Then it’s easy to ship her with Eun Gyeol. Haha.

Me: While saying "I love you, my Lord," was Ri Ta actually thinking, "Hey, see you in my 19th life?" LOL
