I’m a sucker for time travel dramas and this first episode just set everything right: tears, laughter, warmth, which we could probably feel all throughout its entire run. (No pun intended lol)
does that help? I hvnt started it yet, but it sounds like a lot of the complaints are with the ML casting being…
Well, if you’re looking for a Filipino Park Seo Joon, you won’t find it. But Paulo Avelino has his own charms. I guess all I’m asking is at least give it a chance first. And also, the target audience here is mainly Filipinos and this pairing is a hit because their other drama is doing really well, though heavier than this one (Linlang / Deceit).
This movie is inspired by a true story so safe to expect that it’s good. I would have loved to hear “Fr. Jeff” talk more during the wedding ceremony which could help make viewers more convinced that he is indeed a priest (at para masulit yung outfit hehe) but nuances like how he nodded his head to signal for Lizzy to walk towards the altar is very priest already so I’m good. Rated it 8/10
This started a bit weird for me but as the story progressed, I got into just fine. Akamine is the weirdest antagonist I have seen. It’d be nice to see the pretty actress in a somber role. TBH, Koga is visually the ML but I do understand why Yamamoto is the actual one. Hayami’s mole on the chin often catches my attention, it has its charm. Haha. Now I’m the weird one. LOL
Finally got to finish watching this. It was an enjoyable watch WHILE I'm watching. Once something more interesting comes up, I tend to turn my attention to that drama and then put this on hold. I do appreciate the drama as a whole, especially Kim Da Hyeon's personality, soft yet strong. If I go into tiny details though, being this a drama from 2016, I have a lot to say. But I really don't want to go there. Just stick to this if you'd like a light watch, especially if you like Jeon So Min and Ha Seok Jin.
It seems so. But this week, being Holy Week, we have Thursday and Friday as holidays so we’ll have to know until next week if the episodes are released only 3 days a week or not.
Before starting this drama, do consider this first: “What if WWWSK becomes a Filipino drama?” and “What if WWWSK happened in the Philippines?” are two POVs we can watch this drama with.
Yoon Park has caught my eye since watching You Are My Spring. It’s nice to see him gushing like this for a middle-age romance love line. Hope to see him again in a similar role, as lead preferably.
It’s good for one-time watch. Some lines from the final scene, though I could see the point, still I do not agree with them though. Hope to see KKY in a drama with better romance plot, where he actually is the main main lead.
