Not impressive, but not bad either. Leads soared with their visuals, and it is the only thing, apart from food, that stood out in this drama in my opinion. However, I do agree on how simplistic banana heart was for the final round, but maybe it’s just me wanting to have a taste of it so I get impressed as well. LOL. Anyway, the company ending reminded me of Flex X Cop, so it was nice. But the romance ending, it did not give much the feels I expected, probably because of the short build up? I mean Maya’s stubborn side was seen more than her warming up to Ha Joon. Well, that’s just me. I could say that by the ending, I’ve already figured out the meaning of the title. And that’s a nice way of delivering the story’s message. If you’re thinking of watching, just go ahead. This is a nice 3-hour watch.
I hope TV Chosun shares this with Viu or Netflix. Their last drama, My Happy Ending, was on Viu. I hope this gets picked up (and be available in the PH) as well.
I had a feeling that the truck of doom was coming but I still got surprised. Haha. The story is too relaxed to have such a tragic turn of events. I wish I could see Kibaek back as a news anchor in the end. And his symptoms would make him more reliable and trustworthy in his field of work.
I second and third and so on the motion of every “seated” and “excited” for FL CEO and ML secretary single parent dad comment here. How can we wait patiently for this drama’s premiere??
Yes, but maybe the takeaway is really that people should know better than to look for TRUTH from the broadcasting…
Is the existence of an unbiased, integrity-focused, incorrupt and truth-seeking form of news broadcast something too ideal and utopian? People can only make dramas about it. As much as social media can be reliable as source for reliable news, it can also be a platform for misinformation. The bottomline now is, whether broadcast media or social media is the source, it’s up to a person’s critical thinking skills, beliefs and principles how information is received and applied. And this was shown by Ki Baek at the end of the third episode.
In a world bombarded with manipulative information, this drama is telling us what we should look for in broadcasting media. TRUTH. The funniness of comedy is bait while the message is something serious. Can’t wait to see the next episodes.
Comment #1: Watching this drama gave me a headache, seeing the endless push and pull. It gave me heartache too, a bit because of frustration but more probably because I felt what the main characters were feeling as I watched. Good thing it’s only 4 episodes. Gave it a 9/10 for all the feelings felt.
Lovely Runner = White Padded Jacket Girl???
