I'm not too sure whether her change was due to surgery or weight loss, but if it's the former, I'm willing to bet most people don't like it mainly because she used to "look better," whatever that means to them. By putting yourself in the public eye, you are also making yourself open to criticism, and that's just part of being an actor. I'm willing to bet the change was due to weight loss, though. Either way, PMY looked a certain way for a pretty long time and people aren't used to her "new face" so to speak and so they feel the need to talk about it. C'est la vie

Because a very popular actress has drastically changed her appearance and people are naturally going to have something to say. To top it off, looks and weight are a very important thing to the SK entertainment industry, and it is an absolute fact that most of the actors and actresses are pressured to be way too skinny to the point where it is incredibly taxing on their health. When an already lean actress (imo too skinny as is) loses even more weight to the point where it makes her facial features change drastically, people are going to be worried and the first thing they're gonna blame is the entertainment industry that pressures them to be that level of thin.

In my opinion, yes. It's bittersweet but they are together in the end, just not in the way you'd expect. Don't let this deter you from watching the drama because I was personally very happy with the ending and I love happy endings

The ending is phenomenal though, I wish more dramas ended like how this one did. It's one of those shows that have a lot of angst but really good payoff so I'd still recommend it if you're willing to embrace the sadness (I'm a kdrama masochist so I'll take all the angst I can get)
