These 2 make me feel all fuzzy insideš„°š„°š„°. You know something was great when itās done⦠However you still want more.
It is confirmed; as of now, my 2 top favorite Korean BL dramas are Light On Me and Semantic Error. Fyi: Jang Eui Soo absolutely has some strong competition with Park Seo Ham, in terms of stage presence, stage charisma and acting chops.
Starting this but they are both jerks and the heir's smug smile is just annoying....I hope it gets better by the…
Contrarily to what everyone else is saying⦠To me, golden-spoon prick never got better. That entitled smug smile never left his face, even at the end. And Dr. All Mighty Golden Hands, although funny at times, was not really likable neither. People are saying that this drama has a great bromance⦠I donāt think that I was watching the same dramaš¤Ø.
Ep 1 -9 : okay. Ep 10 -13 : boring and repetitive. Ep 14 -16 : okay. Overall, this is watchable. Chemistry between…
That is about all I got from this drama⦠- Rain looks super sexy in his blue scrubs and in his non-stop designer wardrobe. - And Sung Dong Il looks super rejuvenated like, he is 20 years younger.
I am having a very difficult time focusing on this drama. - I donāt really like Rainās character, Cha Young Min aka, Dr. Mighty Golden Hands. - I have never been fond of Kim Bumās general acting as a whole and his character, Ko Seung Tak in this drama, genuinely irritates me. I want to FF whenever I see his mug but he is literally in every scene. - The ridiculous plot where every worker in that hospital is suspicious and is aware of the presence of a supposedly āghost doctorā is simply ludicrous. - And why a renowned hospital is lacking capable surgeons so bad that they have to rely on a first year resident with no documented previous surgery experiences?
As much as I love Rain⦠However, I simply canāt understand why this bizarre supernatural medical drama has such a high rating.
Yep, that is a drop for me as well. Hwang Dong-Jooās lonesome character could not carry the entire show, all on his own. How can they ruin a drama from that genre when they have so many great references?
As a fan of this particular genre like, - Squad 38 - Mad Dog - Player - Leverage - The Swindlers - Taxi Driver I was expecting for the entire main cast to be exciting, vivacious, amusing and endearing with a great team-dynamic. However, what I got with Tracer is only one single exciting character⦠The male lead, Hwang Dong-Joo. The rest of the group is borderline irrelevant. Bummer!
In terms of great casting, good writing, general good acting and good directing⦠Semantic Error is just as good…
Totally understandable. Everyoneās preference is different. But I absolutely and utterly enjoyed Light On Me. Of course, it is not of the same caliber as I Told Sunset About You⦠(No BL out-there is yet of that caliber; not even the part 2). However for these Korean āNew kids on the blockš¤£š¤£š¤£,ā it was very well executed.
In terms of great casting, good writing, general good acting and good directing⦠Semantic Error is just as good as Light On Me, from last year. Kdramas are very late in the BL race; however, they are making some substantial progress. Impressiveš.
I really liked it up until the ending. The main characters looked cute together and I enjoy watching vampire dramas.…

We can expect a second season?
That would be just great.

I am so ecstatic that she is not coming back in season 2.

For me, the Kang Ha Naās character was the only blemish on that drama.

Bummer!
That was a very messy, cringy, awkward, eventful packed first episode.
Not quite sure what to make of it, yetā¦
PS: Where is director Aof when we need him to streamline and to smooth out this papier-mâché of a montage.
But I absolutely and utterly enjoyed Light On Me.

I am very impressed with the quality of the production.
And the actors, actually⦠can act!
My top and only 2 K-BLdramas⦠so farā¦
Semantic Error is just as good as Light On Me, from last year.
