One more water filled Chinese drama. Where It started great; however, it subsequently and gradually went way South. It was very cute, at first. Sort of an ancient Chinese version of Strong Girl Bong-soon… With our delectable and best Zhang Qi Ling (EVER), handsome as always. Now, the FL completely annoys me. I can’t feel any chemistry between her and the ML. Darned! Zhang Qi Ling and Wu Xie had more chemistry, synergy and dynamic in Reunion: The Sound of the Providence.
This description said it all… “His portrayal of the dragon king is an impressive study of the art of being bizarrely still and plank like while everything else is moving.” There is absolutely nothing more to say 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
As far as i remember he dies in season 1 ... At the very end of finale.
They showed the patients from that mental institute attacking him but they did not show him dying. Anyway… They already revealed that the DID serial e is not him😭.
editing is so bad at first I thought maybe censorship cause zero flow in script? Its feels like they tried make…
Flaming Heart is as bad as Love a Lifetime in terms of editing. I am unable to get attached to the characters because I did not see their progressions.
I dropped both chdramas this year You are my something and my Dear Guarding, but Im shallow I seem Simong Gong…
Zhang Hui Wen’s general acting has always been one-dimensional for me since NIF 2. She improved a bit in Love a Lifetime but not enough for her to be on my radar.
Enjoyed the first episode but it just goes downhill after that. The editing is all over the place – one scene…
Agree. I was expecting some actions packed thriller… Well, it is about rescuing teams… All that I am getting, so far, is fluffiness and not even the good kinds.
All that I am getting is fluffiness. Even the rescue missions are just so-so. Definitely not Word of Honor.
The worst part so far… is the crazy editing. There are absolutely no gradual progressions in the storyline. They are just jumping from one scene to the next, with all the DramaLand’s clichés in the books. The ML is ok but the FL is one-dimensional.
This is probably also a drop, just as My Dear Guardian.
Wouldn’t it be great if this new DID serial killer is actually Mo Tae Goo from Voice 1…🤯💥 He was obsessed with Kang Kwon Joo in that first installment. Why not bring him back since they brought back Shim Dae Shik, obviously still suffering from PTSD… Maybe, this new DID serial killer is just faking/pretending to have super-hearing ability so he can mess with Kang Kwon Joo.
*Well, if I was the writer for this fourth installment… That would be my storyline.
Omg I thought I was the only one who finds Kim Ga on annoying I hate people like that. He had no right putting…
Yep… And showing him saving abandoned plants🙄 does not make his character any less annoying. And that professor of him is as much shady as anyone else in this drama.
lol priest story was such bs. kid was being bullied by everyone so he created a divided them (by putting stuff…
Seriously… It was ok for the whole class to harass him and for the teacher to do nothing about it; however, when he retaliated… This adult priest automatically categorized him, as the devil🤨. Fyi: Yes, killing the bird was extreme but he killed it because his seat-mate was afraid of it. One common denominator that I have witnessed in Korean dramas… They are always fast to call people “the devil,” “a monster” or “a psychopath” whenever anyone is different from them.
At this point, it is obvious that Hang Yo Han has a vendetta agenda, going on. I am not sure why he went bunkers on that homeless guy or why he purposely showed those peculiar reactions while hugging that old lady and perfectly knowing that Kim Ga On was watching him… But I am sure; there will be more clarifications later on. The only thing that annoys me more than anything else, so far, is Kim Ga On’s overzealous sanctimonious self-righteousness. I really can’t stand these types of people.
The FL became so annoying and irrational.

The other Chinese actor whom has similar aptitudes is Jin Han.

I could tell. It was so obvious.
Yes, I am guessing that I am indeed very dense🤨.
I am pushing onto episode 4 with Flaming Heart (And yes, I am really emphasizing the word “Pushing”)…
This also might be a drop for me.

The directing and the writing feel closer to the first installment.

Those inner monologues, Circa 1980… were ridiculous and so out of place.
I managed to finish it, simply for Zhou Yi Wei.
