It all felt like a cop-out for the sake of fan service- it was all good writting until...the end put a damp on…
I agree.
4 out those 5 episodes were well written, well acted and well directed.
However, I am disappointed by the overwhelming fanservice from the 5 episode.
For me, by taking that route, the director and the scriptwriter have lost part of their integrity; which really impressed me in the early 4 episodes.

I am so with you on this- they needed time, a good chunk of time, to make me believe that they have grown, learned…
Exactly!

Man, I saw passionate love all over their faces and in the tears running out of their eyes during that beach scene…
I did not see none of that.
Nice… That is all that I saw.
Yearning for someone with all of your fibers and all of your entire soul…
I guess, YES, our genital reproductive systems are indeed included in that equation.
LOL

Unfortunately, this last episode of I Promised You the Moon did not convince me.
Neither the writing, the acting nor their newly developed (Or should I say… Their newly matured) relationship convinced me.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
Hmmmmm…
I don’t know what I feel about this happy ending.
It is nice that they got back together but simultaneously, I did not feel any passion between them.
I would think after a year or two of secretly and silently longing and yearning for each other… The passion would be overflowing through their pores.
That famous scene with both Teh and Oh on the floor inside Teh’s bedroom in I Told Sunset About You… Had more passion and emotions combined when compared to the entire second part of I Promised You the Moon.

I love all 16 eps. All of bad comments about this drama, and the drop on the rating didn't work for me (You will…
That’s right!
On The Legend of Grave Keepers Jun 24, 2021
Even until the end…
The stupidity in this drama never stopped.
This is the best way that the writer and the director could think of, on how to move the unconscious Qianlou around?
Single-handedly and physically dragging her around, inside of a snow-white coffin…🤨
Is Manfeng looking for help to save her or is he going through an intensive pilgrimage?😅😂🤣

*Final impressions on this juvenile-hormonal Wuxia version of the Chinese tomb raiders series:
The authors of the Chinese tomb raiders series should sue this sorry ancient-looking copycat version for misused of their themes.

So true !!!
I did not like Court Lady, at all!
I suffered through that traffic jammed of storylines… solely because of XuXu.
And the man had barely any scene in that drama.
So yes, just like you… It is confirmed that I can watch anything for XuXu😉.

So true !!!
I am just loving his style in Ancient Love Poetry.
Can’t get enough of his character.
XuXu has always played (to some extents) some kind of playful, joyful and nonchalant characters in his past projects.
So, I am super impressed with his acting and his stage performance in this Xianxia.
It is wonderful to see him portraying a more reserved, a more solemn and a more stoic character in there.
And he is nailing that True God of Fire’s role!

So true !!!
I know…
They did XuXu and the FL wrong in that drama.
I read that they cut out most of their already filmed scenes😭.

So true !!!
This is a modern Chinese drama on esports.
How complicated can it possibly be…?
LOL

So true !!!
Court Lady has become the XuXu’s fan confirmation test.
If one is able to watch that entire drama without skipping any scene; then… Hell, you definitely are a XuXu’s fan.
So, Falling Into Your Smile is just child-play:)

Title Immortality
I hope it's just a rumor because it's disgusting to imagine two characters which had a really over the boundary…
It has to be one of the many unfounded-stupid rumors about this production.
Because in every level that I could picture this… It would be freaking bizarre.

I didn't like her character in Sparrow, but thought it was the writing.
It is interesting you wrote that…
The first thing that popped in my mind during the very first episode was…
“Oh! Ni Ni would have been so much better for that role.”
Ni Ni has a natural elegance about her and at the same time; she is really adept at playing immature and childish characters without being irritating.
Although, I have to admit that Zhou Dongyu is showing much improvements from her days in Sparrow.
Is she the perfect counterpart for XuXu in this Xianxia?
Hmmmmm, she is not.
But at least, her performance is better than what Wu Jia Yi gave us, as Su You Lian, in Dance of the Sky Empire.
On The Legend of Grave Keepers Jun 22, 2021
Only a Chinese female voice-over or a voice-dubbed can make or destroy an entire drama.
One would think that by now; those Chinese cinematographic productions would be aware on how much those little girls’ high pitched voices are irritable to the viewers.
It is utterly incomprehensible why they keep on using them…
On Liu Xue Yi Jun 22, 2021
Person Liu Xue Yi
It is confirmed; Liu Xue Yi can play his “derrière” off in whatever productions or roles; they put him in…
Big budget productions, low c-average budget productions, whatever genres, protagonist, antagonist, villain, hero, second male lead (love rival) and first male lead.
The man is very versatile.

Title No Boundary
I agree; it was a beautiful production.Apart from the heavenly set and the writing behind it, I love everything…
Exactly.
There is nothing that I would have changed about the main leading couple.
Wonderful casting.
Darren Chen did an excellent representation of his character… Manly, skilled, strong, considerate with tons of extra charms.
And
Zhang Yi Shang was strong, vivacious and gentle when needed be; without the forever clichés with the FL being rude, arrogant, indecisive and flip-flopping between the ML and the male love rival.
These are characteristics of DramaLand’s first female leads that are rarer than finding a well-known extinct specie.
