Absolutely stunning production!! Do not watch Season 2 without watching season 1! It was meant to be 1 drama in…
I agree; it was a beautiful production. Apart from the heavenly set and the writing behind it, I love everything about this fantasy drama. Unfortunately, for some incomprehensible reasons…This is one of the most underrated Xianxia released this year. The general rating is completely underserving.
I love everything about it till now. I am really shocked people says xukai's acting is dull? I know people are…
I love his acting and his stage performance in this Xianxia. XuXu has always played (to some extents) some kind of playful, joyful and nonchalant characters in his past projects. It is wonderful to see him portraying a more reserved, a more solemn and a more stoic character in this Xianxia. And he is nailing that True God of Fire’s role!
Hell yes they don't match and it gets annoying. I was kind of ok for the first few parts, the dubber tried to…
I have been meaning to ask… The voice-over or voice-dubbed that they used on XuXu in this drama… Is it his or not? Apart from one movie, I have watched all of his projects and he always has the same voice-over or voice-dubbed.
You said it right, I read jaynestar's post and I feel mad about the post
How XuXu is fat? Exactly, in what world can someone possibly associate the word “fat” with XuXu? The dead world… Where flesh and bones are not longer an option… Seriously LOL
It is amusing because I have been saying that XuXu needs to put some muscles on. He is too skinny and that he needs some muscles’ definitions.
Woahh what a beautiful ending, im sobbing nowಥ‿ಥOkay so again this has already be one of my fav BL. Don't…
Me too. I loved this drama and I am so picky. That tells a lot… Tutor has to be one of my all-times favorite BL counterpart character. So refreshing to have a BL character who is so decisive, straightforward and unapologetic about his sexual orientation.
I so dread the overused “Deer caught in the headlights” BL counterpart characters.
Just for the facts that: They made Fighter waste 2 years with someone whom he was ironically incompatible with… And they made Tutor waste 2 years in complete loneliness with the constant stress from Fighter bullying him… They need to give us a second season.
Yet again, the same old generic formula for most Cdramas, with a slight twist. - A misunderstood ML - A rather rude, arrogant and presumptuous FL - A capricious and unrestrained male love rival (The all-times’ favorite cliché from DramaLand) - Now, the slight twist… A single mother and son who absolutely do not look like a mother and son. *And the forever omnipresent extra sizzler… Well-known as, AMNESIA. 🤔🤔🤔
And that is a drop! Apart from Joseph Zeng’s acting performance, his well tailored wardrobes and the general soothing pastel-colored pallets of the sets… There is nothing remotely interesting about this drama. 14 episodes are my maximum appreciation for Joseph Zeng.
Watched up to ep 14 and its a frustrating watch. I quite like the male lead but the female is awful, expects everything…
I truly don’t know what is going on with Liang Jie in this drama. Her acting performance and the writing behind her character are just awful. I am in episode 10 and the writings behind the leading main couple are really getting on my nerves. The only saving grace of this drama so far is that Joseph Zeng is playing his role well, whether we like his character or not.
Oh my…If I could send you “Applauses” on this platform, I would have. BRAVO! WELL SAID!The so-called “Love…
LOL Even though, part 2 is dealing with a more solemn storyline compared to part 1… This writer and this new director never lost the authentic and realistic aspects of the real world; which, initially attracted our full attention in part 1.
I'm probably the only one not calling Teh a dick. While he appeared to submit, he didn't initiate what happened.…
Yes, Teh is a dick! But a realistic human dick. I love what you wrote about Teh not being made out of marble. Even before the release of this part 2… I knew realistically; the change of environments, friends, goals and acknowledgement of their respective individuality will have a Jurassic effect on their relationship… Whether positive or negative.
Well many would curse Teh for being a D!ck but the fact that this season 2 is Realistic AF made me fell in love…
Oh my… If I could send you “Applauses” on this platform, I would have. BRAVO! WELL SAID!
The so-called “Love fairytales forever and after” only exist in DramaLand. The real-life relationships are scary, painful, hurtful, eye-opening and forever-changing. Romantic emotions are always evolving and transforming… Forever changing… Mainly because the human production of dopamine is not a regulated system. Therefore same as you, I love the authenticity of the characters, specifically Teh. And the surprisingly realistic situations in which they are placed in… That includes their actions and decisions.
Indeed, this script is not your average, stereotypical, catered to the mainstream storylines… It gives us an intimate inside-look on how most actual, real-life relationships progress.
The difference between part 1 and part 2: - Part 1: When Teh was crying in the bathroom during his university entrance exam, I was right there crying with him. - Part 2: When Teh was crying after Oh confronted him for being a major d$$k, I was right there cursing at him.
*One of the most realistic and authentic drama that I have watched this year… Because in real life (You know… the non-fictional one) this is usually how s$$t goes down.
You should definitely check it out.
It was too good. We want a second season.
Apart from the heavenly set and the writing behind it, I love everything about this fantasy drama.

Liu and Crystal as a couple…
I can not wait to see that:)

I am asking myself the same questions.
Because I am not getting how these all came about…
And I have a pretty vivid imagination.
- A misunderstood ML
- A rather rude, arrogant and presumptuous FL

- Now, the slight twist… A single mother and son who absolutely do not look like a mother and son.

However, her acting in this drama is also very cringe. Not good, at all.
