Seriously, it was a traffic-jam composed of multitude storylines. I want to give an award to the writer or writers…
There were enough distinctive storylines in that drama to make at least, 5 more separate dramas... I guess it saved money on production costs to stuck everything in one. LOL
Really love the costumes in this drama of the ladies as well as the hairdos. Love the fabrics they use, in each…
I have to agree for the styles of armor. These were ones of the best detailed looking armors that I have seen in DramaLand. I might think that all the rest of the men’s wardrobes were a mockery for that era; however, the armors were well made and well designed.
Is it me or just like was the crown prince gay for the opera dancer
Totally. He definitely had a thing for cut-sleeves over dresses. Historically, there were rumors that he was actually an homosexual. Well, we will really never know...
he even surpassed a long term mother fan's expectations
Even-though there is no fixed date yet for the beginning of production or the release... I can not wait to see our oh-so charming Leo with Rosy in Love Like the Galaxy.
The storyline certainly was lacking some serious depths; however, I was not as weirded out as I was for the step-brothers’ romance in HIStory 4. I will definitely check out the second season.
PS: Prab was really one of the most cutest BL characters that I have watched.
I can’t give the leading actor and actress an objective review for their screen-performances... Because the editing, the butchering and the cuttings of the scenes were severely inconsistent. Where exactly do I base my opinions on? Their early characters “mise-en-place,” and the progression of their romance were literally nonexistent.
The only thing; I can say is that they both did the best they could with a mental director and a very indecisive scriptwriter.
Why would their reputations be tainted? XuXu will always be one of my top favorites... Regardless of that congested and overly overpopulated storylines of a drama... XuXu did the best that he could do, in terms of acting, with some very bad characters’ writings... If I might say.
As for the editing, obviously it was royally butchered... From episode 1 to 55.
Thia drama really can't seem to decide who its main characters are. In the beginning, it's clearly about Fu Rou…
Seriously, it was a traffic-jam composed of multitude storylines. I want to give an award to the writer or writers behind this congested drama. They surely claimed the title for “Poster-Boy for Indecision.”
Oof...! Now that I finally made it through the end of this ridiculous traffic-jam of storylines... Seriously, I am demanding an award for my extreme perseverance.
As of now... If Word of Honor is the highlight of all Wuxia BL of 2021... And The Long Ballad is the highlight of all Wuxia historical romance of 2021... Then Court Lady is the complete opposite of anything highlight of 2021.
They need air-lift.
LOL
Apparently that mental director cut a lot of scenes from him and from Fu Rou.
We will never know...
I guess it saved money on production costs to stuck everything in one.
LOL
The robes’ colors were based on the military ranks.
If anything, for me... That drama got the best military costumes this year.
Fingers crossed.

- Taxi Driver
Taxi Driver season 2, please...
Would I be jinxing it if I ask for a season 2 since Lee Je Hoon does not seem to like making sequels?

Thank you very much for the explanation.
I guess that I am more of a sister-fan, then:)
I will definitely check out the second season.

As long they are of royal blood; everything seems to be justifiable to some degrees.
It is obvious that they plastered their names and faces on the drama-poster simply for PR.
At least, XuXu and
Li Yi Tong made some easy money, in that drama.
A truckload of nonsense.
It is like the writer did a 180 out of nowhere.
