I think after 2020 we have fatigue with insecure characters like PI who need convincing of the other person's…
First, they should have titled it Lovely Kissing, instead. There were more kissing scenes instead of anything else (Well, I am not complaining or anything...). But yes, there was something definitely missing in that drama.

To be clear, I am not a Rosy’s fan but I was certainly impressed by her performance in this project. Why is It dangerous for one to voice his or her personal opinion?
You may or may not be Rosy's fan, but her acting is hardly at the level of Dilraba. Lots of Rosy's fan said she…
For me, in terms of “Star Power” D. most definitely has it... In terms of acting performance and screen-delivery in this specific drama, Rosy has it...
I most definitely understand and agree with your comment. The Li Chang Ge’s character has more layers and has more dimensions when compared to the Li Le Yan’s character. And it is to be expected; it is the first female lead character... After all. Although I like D. in general, I have always find her portrayals and her performances rather one-dimensional. And personally, same as always, I find her performance and screen-delivery in “The Long Ballad” good but it could have been better. How can I explain it... I am looking for the real essence of Li Chang Ge; however, I am not finding it in her acting. Again, this is strictly a personal taste.
I must admit, for me, Leo Wu and Rosy Zhao’s performances are the most convincing, among the main cast. When Ashile Sun is in a scene, I pay more attention. When he talks, I listen more attentively. Same goes for Li Le Yan. When she cries, I feel her anguish. When she acts all gullible and naive, I want to shake some senses into her.
This very convincing and beautiful performance by Rosy Zhao... I wish she was at this level in “Love of Thousand Years” with Zheng Ye Cheng. These subtle details, nuances and emotions that she is conveying so well in this role, as Li Le Yan... These are exactly what were missing in “Love of Thousand Years.”
When and how did Rosy get so good? She has always played those fluffy and half-baked stereotypical female roles. I am most impressed by her acting in The Long Ballad. I am even thinking the unthinkable... I actually wish that she had played the role of Li Chang Ge, instead of Dilraba Dilmurat. (Sorry D.)
*They need to put Leo and Rosy in a drama, as the main lead couple... Pronto!
Oof!Somehow I made it through...Did I almost drop it? Many times along the way. Until the end, I really did not…
Not at all. In terms of linguistics, each country has his own variation of expressions. Some use more archaic variations of the French language, dialects and dictions... And some use more modernized ones...
Also, thank you for your insights. However, I do understand the meaning of both variations.
I can not be the only one who is getting slightly exasperated with Pi... At this point, I just want Mork to stop chasing after Pi or trying to convince Pi about his feelings, all together. Call it tough love... I want Pi to experience what he would be missing if Mork stops paying any kind of attention to him.
Fyi: After Mork said “I will make you love me instead...” Then, he should have turned around and worked away without glancing back. It is time for Mork to make Pi yearn for him...
Interesting and unpredictable plot. Messy storyline. Very messy writing. The characters were not so likable. Although full of layers and complexities, the Bareum’s character, portrayed by Lee Seung Gi was somehow 60% to 40% convincing; in terms of transitioning between a psychopathic persona into a more repenting persona (Again, sorry Lee Seung Gi).
*My only and most favorite character in this psychological thriller had to be the young Bareum, portrayed by the young and talented Kim Kang-hoon. This kid-actor totally stole the show for me... He was 100% convincing in his performance and in his screen-delivery. I have had Kim Kang-hoon on my radar since Mr. Sunshine and he has not disappointed me in any of his projects, ever since.
The first 10 episodes felt like, that Bareum’s character was below Lee Seung Gi’s acting skills caliber. The later 10 episodes feel like, the double-brain transitional identity of this Bareum’s character might be the most challenging role in Lee Seung Gi’s repertoire.
*Either way, I am loving that he is challenging his acting ranges with this anti-hero/antagonist/protagonist character (All in one).

Maybe, it was too tamed for me.
I got really bored with it.

Mork is genuinely an attractive character.

“All shades of intense sexy.”

this is strictly a personal opinion.
Not based on universal ratings.

I definitely want to see Leo and Rosy in something together.
Perfect example.
