Now, I am worried for Immortality. Did they use that same approach for Immortality in order to pass the censorship issues? Because I am waiting for some knocking-me-off-my-chair’s CGIs from Immortality.
It is Tencent for good grief... They make more than enough money. If they were going for a more artistic overview, a mix of CGIs and drawings/animations could have been better. I still want to see the actual actions, not to always listen to a narration.
Things that I do not like so far... Too much drawings. They were fun here and there; however, when they started to replace every extreme sequences and war fighting sequences with drawings... The drama is loosing some of the established Wuxia dynamics that we are used to. They must have saved a ton of money by replacing the CGIs with drawings.

I don’t know if LeYan will fall for him but she is naive enough to do so. Unless, the new emperor adopts our resident fetching-dog; there is no way that she will end up with him just based on his status. My guess is that he will remain a devoted glorified bodyguard for our little gullible princess.

If I could upvote you 10 more times, I would... You are exactly right.
Our resident fetching-dog shows some psychological unbalanced behaviors. His extreme animosity and hate toward Changge and ShuYu are overkill. - How dare ShuYu does not like the girl whom I have been in love with, all my life? - How come the girl whom I am in love with trusts Changge more than her own life? - For these reasons, I have to remove Changge from existence.
It is completely illogical but makes complete sense in our resident fetching-dog’s head.
I never read the unfinished manhua but in this tv drama, there were hints here and there that Changge may actually…
That would be great if they give them a happy ending. Both Changge and Ashina Sun are not callous leaders; they seem to genuinely want peace between the 2 nations. They are going to be at war because there is no other alternatives. Ashina Sun has that overzealous and greedy for power brother of his... manipulating everything for the worst. And Changge has the new emperor with 2 cruel and Machiavellian advisers next to him.
I feel the same as you,I think changge mom kill herself..do you remember the night before, changge mom listen…
The other major reason has to be patriotism. She does not want her people to go through an internal civil war while they have exterior foreign forces lurking to conquer them. She is putting her people before her personal revenge. I actually really like that kind of character growth.

In on way, I love that the Manhua is not yet finished. That way, the production team and the original author had more freedom with the televised storyline.
thank god he found out that Changge is a girl so early. Imagine if it took 20+ episodes. That would've been a…
%1000 Also they have complete creative freedom with the ending because the Manhua itself is incomplete. Therefore, no one can criticize them if they have used their god-given brain for creating/finishing a storyline that makes sense.

You do have a point. He is certainly jealous of their sisterly relationship. More than that, he is also greedy for status. We can see how his demeanor completely changed with the new emperor and also his new found power.
In my maternal language, we would call him “A nouveau riche.” Very loud and flamboyant people.
No revenge? I mean I can handle not getting revenge on emperor cause you know he's the emporer. Even though she…
Wei Shuyu... I am able to understand him. He is weak, he has no backbone or spine and he was trying to save his clan by going along with the new emperor. Even with his arrow at the decrepit bridge, he was actually trying to spare her life.
However, the person whom I do not understand is the cold-blooded and our resident fetching-dog, Hao Dou. That dude is so adamant at killing our FL because his master told him so. He is in love with little gullible princess but he strangely hates our FL. As if they promised him that he could marry little gullible princess if he kills our FL... He reminds of the other resident-immortal assassin from L.U.C.A.
the same here... getting mad with her character... she is so weak, fragile... I prefer Rosy in a different role..…
I am just about to start calling her “Cry-me-a-river” little gullible princess. Within 10 episodes, she had cried enough tears... Enough to create a second Yellow River.
But the actress is conveying those emotions really well. Not bad.
I was only annoyed in one scene. When he is used power to taker her away from him. I was like atleast go use hand.…
In these genres, the love rival is always the one (he or she) with the unrequited love. So yes, he is definitely a stereotypical love rival. I am sure his underworld kingdom will have a part in it. At least, he will probably use it as a mean or an excuse to achieve his goal...

He is still a love rival... LOL Still irritating on some points. I think that he is going to turn into a villain later. Infatuation and blinded obsession are never a good thing in this genre. In his case... a thousand years worth of obsession and unrequited love... Not good.

You can think whatever you like but you don’t have to say it out loud.

Sing it louder...
I am so happy that they have great chemistry and great synergy with each other... Whether they have a good or a sad ending.
It is the worst when the 2 main leads do not have any chemistry with each other.
I thought that was cute.
Constantly fighting between good and evil.
However, the person whom I do not understand is the cold-blooded and our resident fetching-dog, Hao Dou.

Ohhhhhh! My darling little brother just touched his first b$$b on camera.
No nose-bleed...
