And what is wrong with being a Pro-Chinese? If those allegations are even true...I am a Pro-Chinese, I am a Pro-Korean,…
I do understand what you are saying... However, I still believe that this whole thing went way overboard. The fact that the production house was willing to edit and to remove whatever was controversial... Should have been more than enough.

Can you tell me the name of any nation that does not have a propaganda? Now, we are interfering with people personal beliefs and doctrines because they are not in correlation with ours...

These sensitive issues have always been there, since the Han dynasty. They will never be resolved because both nations’ histories are forever intertwined, due expansions, colonizations and abdications. Last year, we had the cultural Japanese controversies with The King: Eternal Monarch. And the complete alteration from the factual Korean history; however, it was not forced to cancel. Then, why this fantasy/horror drama?
Personally, I think that all of this fussing over a fantasy/horror drama is pure stupidity. Frankly, we are giving too much power to Netizens. The drama placed a disclaimer at the very beginning of the episodes: “This is a dramatization; it is not an accurate depiction of historical facts.”
I don't understand the historical details or never I interested in this type of Drama but from some tweets online,…
And what is wrong with being a Pro-Chinese? If those allegations are even true... I am a Pro-Chinese, I am a Pro-Korean, I am a Pro-European, I am a Pro-African and I am a Pro-American... Darned! I am a Pro-Nations... Is it something wrong with me?
Here start the Korean version of the Chinese Censorship Bureau... On behalf of the rest of the viewers who do not make a fuss about everything, Thank you Netizens.
i don't quite like the way some of these cnetz are harassing the screenwriter though. and not liking the ending…
People often forget there is such a thing called... Creative Freedom. If it’s done carelessly then that’s a different matter. But in the case of this drama adaptation... I think that it was beautifully and carefully executed.
After a depressing night because of the final seven episodes ,, I went to sleep hoping I will be better in the…
LOL She is a realist. You know that life is never about or ends with Pegasus, fairies and rainbows... I, myself, appreciate this writer for her realistic approach.
Before going into this last episode... A special shout-out to the director, Sam Ho, for this heart-felt and endearing BL drama adaptation. This tells us that a well produced drama does not technically need a colossal production budget and a cast of famous and acclaimed actors and actresses. “How do you like them apples... Tencent?”
Now, back to the story: The last 20 minutes of this drama was extremely stressful. With the psychotic menace still on the loose, I was waiting to hear a shotgun in every scene. I had long foreseen that our handsome little doctor was going to die, at the end. My anxiety was more about when... Now, Yue Lou gets to raise his Beau’s little sister and Miss Fluffy (Could also be Mr Fluffy), as his immediate family. Sad ending but fitting.
Although it might air after March 29 ( when the sword and the brocade drama ends) , everyday is really a torture…
I did not find anything special with his character in that drama. Any other actor could have played that role. Same for the female lead. Even Lord Bo’s female rival from the assassin sect was better written.
Not only you, even his own boss, Vicky Zhao, mentioned during the interview that she was surprise to see ZZH acting…
Great synergy and great dynamic between co-leads are definitely essential for better stage deliveries. However, it is just part of the craft. If an actor or actress’s delivery can’t stand alone then they do need to improve their skills.
Examples: - He Gu with his depiction of Mei Changsu/Lin Shu’s character in Nirvana in Fire 1. A completely solo character but gave us an outstanding delivery. - Another similar solo character’s depiction who gave us a great performance is Zhang Ruoyun with his Fan Xian’s character in Joy of Life.
Zhang Zhe Han is indeed surprising me here. I am familiar with him from The Legend of Yunxi but I didn't really…
I really started to pay attention to Simon Gong in Lost Love in Times. He did not really do anything for me in Advanced Bravely. I even further think that Advanced Bravely was a really bad BL tv adaptation. The novel was much better.
Both lead actors look the part, it was as if they jump out the novel itself. With it comes to visuals they fit…
That is exactly what it is... An ambush! A limited budget drama has never been so fruitful... And so boundless... “How do you like them apples?” I said to the Untamed. LOL
Killer and Healer is another one with even a more meagre production budget and an original author who is not as well-known as Priest. Nonetheless, the final product is delivering vehemently...
I've watch it & I'm not satisfied with it. A good watch but not great no matter if its bl or not
If it is not for you. Find something else you will like. I have dropped plenty of very popular ones that myself have found utterly boring. Regardless of my liking for the actors or actresses...

This is a 1000 steps backwards into the Confucianism eras.

The chemistry was too forced... too superficial.
No depth.
I will try that.
