Glad Mandu is fine!! Just that it became a hostage lol. These two are really childish with their bickering, and I love it! Seung Tak's desperate little hand when he was signaling for Young Min to help him squeeze chest tubes(?) got me rolling over hahahaha
(I can already predict the big cliffhanger episode 6 is going to bring to us w/Cha Young Min stuck outside the operating room)
LoL. Nice, a very detailed theory. As for the "ghosts" matter, its also plausible for mistranslation thing. I…
Oh wow, I thought it was universally Cha Mandu. (pretty sure it's what Youngmin says?) They didn't say that specifically it was a sugar glider but they did show the pet running on a wheel in the first ep and we can tell it's a sugar glider from that :D

Thanks for letting me know! I also think it would be more meaningful if Tak could only see ghost Cha Young Min, but it's definitely reasonable to assume that Seung tak can see more than one ghost. Would explain where his op skill of perfectly ignoring our dear professor came from after all.
^I could argue that Cha Young Min was the only ghost that could possess him, thus leading him to say "ghost" although he can see many ghosts. There would still a unique connection between the two that allows YM, a coma ghost, to possess Tak, a living person. Tes did say he's never seen it before. (As you can see I think and write too much)
We'll probably be able to find out in the next few episodes, which I am very much looking forward too. I hope they'll bring back Mandu too!
P.s. I watch it on dramacool (cough no iqiyivip cough), which I assume are rough fan translations because it comes around around 8 hours earlier than official translations.
How I wish for there to be sneak peaks for this show, so my heart will be satisfied as I wait for night to fall... (I'm starting to like this show a little too much lol)
I'm just going to drop a theory before the other episodes come out... I know it's supposed to be a comedy but I'm just that kind of person!!!
I think Ko Seung Tak may have been in an accident that required him to do an operation on his heart.
We know that he had a really sheltered life(arguably a chaebol thing?) + really low stamina (explicitly stated in episode 3). In episode 4 where Dr Ahn ran to confront Seung Tak, we see the latter leaning against the counter, out of breath and clutching his chest. I reckon the distance between the residence area and the ER probably isn't very far, so for Seung Tak to be this tired I believe there's something beyond just usual low stamina. When he was 'exercising' on his scooter, it seemed like he was lazy to actually run, but what if he actually wasn't able to do strenuous exercise like running for very long? (Totally not over reading this) This might also correlate to why he joined the cardiothoracic department. (He said it was because it cool [ep1] but do I want to believe him? He is quite the actor after all.)
But why an accident and not being born with a heart problem? Because of his trauma of blood/wounds. Realise his father isn't part of the family gathering, isn't part of the hospital board, isn't mentioned at all? My guess is that both Seung Tak and his father was involved in that accident, and his father had passed away. Perhaps it was a car accident, but regardless, Ko Seung Tak probably saw loads of blood and gaping wounds on his dad, and he may even have died in front of Seung Tak. I believe something traumatic like that would have very likely caused a fear of blood/wounds.
This may be a stretch, but regarding the being able to be possessed by Cha Young Min + see and touch him... what if the possessed Cha Young Min had treated Ko Seung Tak at some point, causing the two to be deeply connected in a patient-doctor sense? What if CYM's parents were the ones that were involved in that accident, and both of them passed away and one of their hearts were transplanted to Go Seung Tak, making them connected by blood in some sense? Tes seemed to know Seung Tak (not sure about this), and the former has been in the hospital for presumably a very long time already. Maybe because Seung Tak had been hospitalised?
I feel like Tak at least has some experience with this phenomenon of possession and seeing ghosts, considering his behaviour for the past 4 episodes. He didn't seem extremely surprised when he saw ghost Young Min in the ambulance, and he wasn't actually that scared despite being possessed multiple times -- instead he was more angry and frustrated, like when he was watching the CCTV footage and whenever his car was left forgotten somewhere. (Perhaps he has good adaptation skills) In the VR scene he also said "die you stupid ghosts, get away from me", with a plural "ghosts". Maybe he can see ghosts other than Cha Young Min? (maybe a translation thing though? Or was he referring to what he was shooting on screen even though they really look like zombies to me)
Anyways that's all for my extremely long theory for a fantasy comedy drama...
I just thought of how hard it must have been hard for Seung Tak the past 4 episodes, having to ignore Cha Young Min despite his constant chattering and distracting movements hahahahahaha No wonder he got so annoyed he went all out shooting zombies/ghosts in VR
So he can see him but can't hear him, is that right?
Yeah he can both see and hear him. That's why he was able to follow the instructions on how to grab the scalpel + chose the blue pocari sweat drink like CYM suggested etc.
This was some weird shit. Nice. (End of this comment-)
Bizarrely humourous, bittersweet and cliche romance, supernatural powers that felt as though it was supposed to be symbolic yet was very real...... I enjoyed watching the show overall, though there were parts I didn't quite like. Honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, after seeing all the comments. [Is this expectation bias?!]
Also, the bodyguard/secretary is the best guy I've seen, ever. :)

It was a fitting end to this scar-filled story. I loved it.
It's sad to see it finally end, after 3 months of spinning theories and getting clowned.
It was an amazing drama; gripping from start to end. Thank you, and congratulations, Mouse team!
BR's relationship with OBY and KMC was developing so well, it hurts to know that it won't last TTㅁTT
I'm crying :)
