I just finished season 1 and when i went to look for season 2, it showed me the donghua version not the live action…
So for both this project and Ever Night they came out in 2018 and I watched them then, I searched disparately to find if they plan a second season because they were rumors... And they both said that were planed with multiple seasons in mind, Ever Night 2 came out in 2020 and the final third season is planned for 2022, as Fighters break sphere 2 is still not out, and in the rumors in 2018 it was said just like in Ever Night that the actor would not come back, but as it seems some time passed, so it could be that production was waiting for him... nothing is confirmed and I don't know if they will actually make a second season...
The fans complained of the second season because they changed some main character traits in season 1 that completely ruined some characters... People were angry because some main events in the plot from the book were not respected.
For example, Xiao Xun'er / Gu Xun'er character should be someone that from a friend (one-sided love) becomes the main leading lady, as she is someone that would never ever hurt our main guy or betray him (this is something that her entire being is built upon, very crucial) while at the end of season 1 we all know how she is portrayed, as for the other girl she is someone as a second character in the guy's life, a friend that is not romanticly in his heart, but in the series, it comes across and she is a companion that is very similar to him and provokes him, she is something more, has a stronger effect over him.

This is a new article about the situation:

This is the old article from 2019 when he recommended another actor for the role:

Title The Wolf Spoiler
I came here after Royal Nirvana, therefore plots and scheming here seem very mediocre and the reasoning behind…
Well, this drama was supposed to air in 2017, they filmed it, and then was postponed till 2020 because of censorship... The air of the drama changed a lot from the main trailer to now, first I think in the original drama our Wolf boy was more supernatural and cruel (in the main trailer they made him look like a werewolf his eyes turning red, being more of a beast and also having this feeling of not wanting to be tame, riding on huge wolves), there were a lot of scenes cut and changed (even the soundtrack) and at first Xiao Zhan was credited as support role but now it changed to a main role (I also heard that the writer complained that the ending turned out this way, she said she regretted it). They worked on this for 4 years, changing and adjusting for the approval of the government, as an artist it's sad to have an idea, to write a piece, and then have it changed into more of a cliche by people that don't know anything about creativity, still for what this project went through I am satisfied with it could have bee way worst... But yes the changed character development, story development, character dynamics, and soundtrack...

Title Sweet Home
I am really scared with disturbing graphic things like head being cut, like SAW or Final Destination. After I…
Well you should not watch it if you are sensitive.
I can't watch horror movies at all I don't like them, but I watch this show with no problem because I read the webtoon so I am prepared, also this show is not typical human horror, it's grotesque and supernatural with fantasy monsters... so in my brain it does not affect me so much, because I can see the artistic side as well and the creativity. You can judge for yourself if you can see it by looking at the webtoon :) you can see for free and stop looking at the cartoon and images any second if you don't like it or it's too much. On WEBTOON it has the same title Sweet Home.

Title The Guest Spoiler
I usually avoid horror, so I missed this one when it first came out. Then it popped up on Netflix this month,…
Yes, I see it the way you do, I like this project a lot but from the beginning, I knew who the main bad guy is :) At first, they did a good job with the misdirection, but when the same character was shown not bringing anything important to the table compared to how the story was developing, I knew there was a hidden reason for the constant appearance of this character, so I figured he is the bad guy... Until episode 14 I had patience but it was already dragged and a bit repetitive they could have made fewer episodes and just kept up whit the pacing and make the last episodes super explosive with a lot of events... but even as it is, this project is still one of my favorites :)

Title The Guest
There is another version of this show as a Korean movie (both interesting). Also, Korea did another similar show…
Yes, sry I forgot to mention "Priest" and "The priest" are not on Netflix I watched them on - dramacool dot so -, they have tons of dramas, I looked on Rakuten Viki to see if they have it there but no luck, for now, I don't know official sites that have them.

Title The Guest
A must watch on Netflix. I want more this type of drama on Netflix, hope they will put on something like this…
There is another version of this show as a Korean movie (both interesting).
Also, Korea did another similar show with the same theme (horror), it's called "Priest" the cast is also super nice and it also involves possessions, priests, and detectives :) but it has a bit of a different vibe and has more supernatural effects. Then there is a Korean movie "The Priest" that is also similar if you like projects of this type you can look over the other versions or other series.
As for another badass Korean project on Netflix, it will start on the 18th of this month, it's called Sweet Home and it has an interesting premise, it's dark and horror.
I also finished a battle royal type of project (which I usually dread, because they are frustrating), this time a Japanese show called "Imawa no Kuni no Alice", it was well written.

Title Alice in Borderland Spoiler
So, there were two taggers. The woman tagger was waiting in the safe zone while the strong tagger that fought…
Yes yes yes!! I remember that there were 2 taggers, but in the room (safe zone) it was the lady, and I was supersized because she was electrocuted and after a short period of time she was already up, she was fighting with our main guy and she seemed strong enough to make our lead guy struggle to get the gun away... When she was reviled to us (her face) I was surprised that she was an older woman, could be close to her 40's... She looked scared and weaker than when she had the mask on. Her body language and power (with the mask on) did not match at all who she became after the mask was off :) and I think she was electrocuted a second time... that is how she fell down...
I am curious for a second season :) the acting is good and so is the cinematography, it's a quality project... but I rarely watch this type of series because I am always to invested and frustrated by the end :))
I am getting ready to watch a Korean series that will be out this month on the 18th, it's dark as well and it's also Netflix, it's called Sweet Home and it's more of a horror thing.

Title #Alive
I actually liked this better than train to busan. It builds up a lot of feeling of restlessness and anxiety and…
Yes, I think you are right this had a psychological aspect to it as well.
On Love Alarm Season 2 Dec 14, 2020
ok so... I am getting ready to watch "Sweet Home", the main actor is our Song Kang it's a badass project, but then I see no Love Alarm 2 on his series list... I am confused about when this will come out... He has at least other 2 projects in 2021, so this TBA status can take forever, what is Netflix doing?
On Alice in Borderland Dec 11, 2020
Title Alice in Borderland Spoiler
This type of series always makes me feel annoyed like there is no right answer ever for the characters... I guess people would just feel powerless :(( I guess a way to survive with your friends would be to never play together in the same game, that way you would never get a game of hearts with them... but it's clear that this is battle royal type people will just be killed one by one...
But there are some strange things going on... like in the tag game how was the woman stronger than our main lead? she was electrocuted the first time and she got up fast... are they drugged or something? Then when they were struggling with the weapon she seemed way stronger almost overpowered our male lead... That was a bit strange...

Review My Friendship
Actually, this project was more R-rated and passionate but the director announced that because of the Youtube guidelines he had to change the project and cut out up to 5 scenes of nudity and you know what because he was not allowed to keep them in. So in the end the feel of the project changed a bit because of that, but the main idea of the story is there. Also, this is based on a real story.

I liked the first and third one the best. The second was a little boring. The last two were good also, but I was…
100% agree they were all a bit ambiguous in a way or another, and I think that is the charm of this mini project.

Title If I Love a Boy Spoiler
Whoever made this short little anthology had a thing about pet fish apparently.
It made me think that it was deliberately placed there :) it was a symbolic motive. Since the gold fish has the legend of granting 3 wishes... It made me think they wanted to make the viewers observe the situation and connect them with the idea that all these characters were wrapper in a quite ambiguous story telling, but since the gold fish was present, if the characters would truly want their situation to change or they learned their lesson, they only need to wish and do something for the situations to change.
We were shown the gold fish and the open endings which closed in the moment where decisions should be taken. A lot of characters were waiting for a clear answer or action, a ferm reality :)
So the gold fish symbolized the possibility, I guess.
On If I Love a Boy Dec 9, 2020
This is sweet, these are all young boys that start to discover those small, warm moments in life where you fall in love. The story is not presented in a sensual or passionate way, but rather in a calm, friendly and pure way, this is a series of 5 short stories about how people can fall in love and how relationships can start from a small gesture or a simple connection.
For people that think it's just too static, it's a 12 min project/ episode, it's supposed to be like that. This captures a different way of saying a story, it's a bit symbolic and silent and it does make the viewers use their imagination to fill in the unsaid parts :)
