This series (season 1 and season 2) was the first Thai series I ever saw, it was around 2008 and it was on youtube :) I feel like the first season is light and the second has extreme drama.
This is a cross between Star Wars and the original Blade Runner movie. It is well put together. The storyline…
When I saw the crew I asked myself if it will be like Cowboy Bebop (2 guys, a girl, and a child, no dog but they have a robot)... I knew nothing about the plot of the movie and it turned out differently, but it was ok for being the first. Usually, this genre and space movies have huge budgets compared to this movie, but this movie managed to make everything look good.
Now that I think about it Netflix wanted to do a Cowboy Bebop series.
Don't spread lies. This is NOT a low budget project.
Actually, I don't watch marvel :) I don't like the marvel movies, boring plot, and extremely predictable storytelling. For me, it's just this thing that jumped out in my mind, with how good the technology is, the characters look crisp but the CGI creatures not so much, so the interaction did not seem to flow... I will get used to this, it's not a big deal. I compare it to obviously other wuxia and similar shows :)

Yes, but they filmed the show before he exploded :) Basically, they finished everything before the big investment, technically speaking at the time of filming(they finished filming 2 years ago), for the huge name they have, the budget was low :) It's still a good project and I love it but it's noticeable when you look at some props and effects. Now that the stupid haters died down Xiao Zhan will have his shows aired <3 and from now on I hope no one will dare bully him, can't wait for his other stuff. And with The Oath of Love as well they filmed it but did not air it then :)
OMG!!!! OMG!!!! They have Dimash in this series!!!!! This is so badass!! I am having an outburst of energy!!!!! Dimash Kudaibergen <3 In the first season, he was part of the soundtrack artists and now he even has a role :)) He makes me happy !! he has such a beautiful voice :)
Is it really robots in the novel or they changed it to robots from esports?
I was confused about that as well because in the first season, they do e-sports with something that requires programming and codes and hacking, now in this one they changed the game to something like robot machines... I have to get used to it :)
I like everyone expect the FL. Did she get raised by dogs? What is her behaviour? Like seriously episode 1 was…
Usually I don't like exaggerated behaviors in FL in drama, overly cute, overly feminine or overly damsel... but I don't feel like she is like that, she looks carefree, happy and peaceful (as in she does not want to mindlessly kill) but she seems like someone that stands up for herself, is smart and strong. I like her for the moment, I am at episode 7 only :)

I am not spreading lies lol :)) For this project, they had a relatively low budget :) even more, if you think about how much money they put into other projects that have equally famous actors in them, even today I saw content about this series and they said the same thing, this project had a low budget, so they could not do very high-quality CGI, it looks a bit more like animation. Look around for info :) I never lie by the way. And I never said anything bad, the series is good, I am watching it but I can see that in certain places things look a bit raw...
Finally!! took them long enough to release this project as well, omg I waited for the wolf since 2017 and for this for 2 years or so... Actually, it can be seen in the effects as well that this series was filmed in the period when he did not break out :) also it's a low budget project, but with all that said I like it and it's actually good:) Love this and I support this project!!!
Me too, i never knew she would be the love interest. She was a power woman ,her small presence last season still…
In all :) basically DT was never ever interested in anyone except her and when they interacted the only person she seemed to linger with was him, and at the end of season one they had their moments together... Dt was always looking in her direction and even if she payed like she is older and responsabile she never actually rejected or pushed him away (with her strong personality that is not a typical reaction from her, which shows she has a weakness for him). just watch the first season interactions between them and you will see :) As for this season, you are right the actress does look warmer.

I knew DT was into her and only her, and I saw her micro-expressions, and that fact that she had a weakness for him :) But with all that she still had an edge to herself and was strong, in this season she lost all that and as you said became cute typical main character (the only way a girl can be "atractive")... I was disappointed a bit because all the different personalities and originality disappeared in this season and they all became standard characters like in any other drama, no creativity or diversity in expression and individuality, they kind of washed out the only interesting things from the first season. :)
I actually really like Wang AnYu.... but the original Grunt was just too good with his originality, style, and…
Yes yes I can confirm, the style was good in general in the first season, Grunt had this quirky look, but at the same time was cool and full of originality. He seemed silly at the surface for those that looked at him with superficial eyes but always had this aura about him that is is way more than what it seems . But in this season, Grunt has a different vibe, he looked more like a good looking boy and a flirt, and he acts differently as well. Wang An Yu is a good actor he will do a good job, but it takes time for the viewer to get used to the new personalities the characters have in this season.

I am only at the begging but I have the same idea about Appledog :) In the first season the character was strong, a bit edgy and more mature, in this season they made her look like a typical pretty girl, feminine and even insecure at times... I felt her image does not fit because the events here (in this season) are still happening after her first team broke up, afte all the events that basically "traumatized" the other members of her team, and after her heart break... yet there is no edginess to her, no sign that she went though things (could be the actress portrayal, or just simply a new direction in which the production decided to go with the character when they worked on the character design). Now I feel I will have the same opinion about Grunt because I actually thought the characters were super well made in the first season and the actors that were chosen were also perfect.
I liked the first season so I came to see the second one. I was a bit surprised because they changed the actress that played Ai Qing / Appledog. In the first season, Appledog was a strong character, and I think the actress was perfect for the role, as the character of Ai Qing / Appledog seemed to be someone that did not have an easy life, mature and a bit strict, basically - she learned some hard life lessons and she became stronger. The actress gave out that energy, a bit of a cold vibe, professional and confident.
In this season the actress and the way they made her look, just makes me think they went for the typical "feminine beauty" they usually choose in dramas, the character looks way more conventionally pretty, warm, and a bit delicate, she lost all the edge that the character had in the first season, even if we know she already did go through her team's breakup, her breakup and basically all the events that form the first season that kind of "traumatized" the other characters involved in their first gaming team. But we can't see it here, at least in the first episodes she seems like she wants to prove something (even if she is set up to be a strong, talented gamer), while in the first season she always looked like she could own everyone, even from the beginning.

I need to get used to this change. :)
