I love them in both projects and I hope they get along series together, the chemistry is breathtaking :) I also noticed that a lot of people said they would love these two actors as the main protagonists for "Heaven Official's Blessing" And to tell you the truth I think they would nail it!!! <3

this is the first I read, but why did you mention a debate when we have the same opinion :) I called them rumors because I did not see a direct confirmation in English (which meant the info in son 100% reliable) :)) I just mentioned the same thing.

:)) well there are multiple articles but they are in English, since I can't read Chinese I can't read official things from rhem directly:) I call rumors anything that I read that is not from their "mouth" But if you google the second part, there are multiple articles on the second season and actors.

Is this horror?
I saw a western television film having king of the same idea, girls that do witchcraft and than they loose themselves and abuse their powers and pay the price (The Craft multiple versions or the other 2018 The Witch Files did not like them ...). Is this similar?

Because of the star factor they will want Xiao Zhan for the full project and he wants to do it :) There were only rumours of changing the main girl (I think they (the fans) wanted liang jie... (but I don't remember well) the filming for the second season will start this year if I heard correctly.

Here he needs to be weak and "normal" at the beginning in order for the viewer to sympathize and empathize with him easily, and to set him up for his growth, it's a strategy used in movies, we are talking about script writing and directing they are telling a story "with real people", and it works as you said you liked it first, also I have to mention not everything from books or animations translate well in acting, there is no way they could have done crazy power effects and scenes with the low budget they had, there are a lot of things into play. With how black listed Xiao Zhan was then and how loved he is now for the second season we can expect some crazy character development and higher quality because I am sure people will not be afraid to invest in the second season.

This is the build up of the characters and story it was made for a long run as an introduction it's good enough in the second season we could witness character development and see how strong they all get.

This drama is a loose adaptation, true, but as something that stands on its own it's good the project in itself is not bad, as for the book, yes, it is good and different compared to the series, but they are both good (in their own way). I would not mind for someone to pick up the book and do an accurate adaptation as well.

Well this drama is good as it is, it's not bad but it's also not acurate to the book, so fans of the book that wanted an adaptation close to the original source were disappointed.

I on the other hand can apreciate the drama as something that stands on it's own and I did not compare it to the book (hope someone will make a new project for that, I want a faithful adaptation as well). This project was made in a difficult period for the main actor, where he was kind of black listed and so this project was collecting dust for 2 years before airing, also they did not have a lot of supporter so for a project of this level they had a super low budget, and it can be noticed, also it is rumored that the second season will start filming this year.

Well, I don't know if people are waiting for the second season but there are people talking about it apparently it will start filming soon... I liked all the actors but people in China did not...

To tell you the truth I don't take the storyline as something more than fiction, I don't understand why some people do (seeing toxic behavior in a series does not make me accept that behaviour in real life).
But with this said I did have a bit of anger towards the script, I saw our little young brother as someone extremely intelligent, able to plan ahead, and responsible. He has a hard time expressing his feelings but he is direct when it matters, also he reads his "bigger brother" well. He is someone that knows what he wants and he shows a big capacity for sacrifice, when it comes to his brother, he always made sure his brother is ok and also he never hurt him, he was always protective... so from all this also knowing he is a virgin, and also showing us that he did not want to kiss his brother while he was drunk (even if the brother was the one that initiated the kiss), how could he be written as someone that would abuse him?
It does not make sense for his personality. It would make sense for him to get his brother drunk (to make sure he does not remember) pretend to go all the way, to force him to come out of his shell, and then take all the blame onto him in order to protect his bigger brother's relationship with the father... If not the character seems to not have a stable personality, the character writing is not cohesive.
So, I could only give it a 9, I like the series but that one part from the writing did not match in my oppinion.

Well you can be right, we don't know the intention of the writer, but just generally as a character I don't think Vincenzo would care, I mean he is a killer he does no have the right to criticize someone for their orientation, also I noticed he was not good with touching people generally, he felt awkward when people touched him, he was all stiff and kind of pulling away.

I don't think it was homophobic, I mean he was playing a straight guy forcing himself to flirt with another man that is known to be a bit crazy, violent, and so on. Think of it the other way around would a gay guy feel good to pretend to flirt with a woman killer?

I can't say how many times a gay person said they felt disgusted by the idea of being forced to be with the opposite sex.

It was not something against all the gays it was that particular person and his character, I don't think that Vincenzo would have been rude if a gay guy would have normally confessed to him. he does not seem to have in his character such petty ideas or to like to judge based on orientation, it's more like the idea of being forced in the situation.

the cute Lee Se Jin did a good job just like in Mr. Heart, I liked this cute drama <3

True, episode 36 is not the real ending, because of the censorship they had to make and extra 7 min special episode for the real ending if not they would not have had the project approved, the series and could have been canceled.
The book is also good :)

I guess they want yo see the actors in better productions or story lines. But sometimes this type of projects are needed, I remember when I was like 13 and I was reading manga I always enjoyed one-shots :) someting short and extra sweet :)
