People can like what they want :) It's just that I was the same at first before reading the book, I am waiting to buy it now. I saw tons of situations where people did not have all the information on projects and they did not like them but they also in a way did not have the entire experience :)) I wrote it to you in a private message. :) <3

At the end of 2019, they announced that they are working on the official ENG translation of the book and that in a short time it should be available for purchase (it was already translated in Eng by a fan, but he took it off because he was employed officially to work on the original book with their team). If you want to read some other fan translations (unfinished) they are available on Wattpad. I can give you 2 links is you want from 2 different versions (if they allow link sharing on this site for other sites).

I get that you see it like that because it was controversial when it aired. But the story is not like that in the book and this series was made especially for the fans of the book, the main story is "Love by chance" and because of the crazy success people asked for the book TharnType to be made. There you get into the head of the characters and you understand "the why" better, also the series does not show the passing of the time well as this happens in a long period of time, but in the series, it's just not shown. The bad guys are punished in the book in certain ways even if in the series they did not focus on showing that. In the series, Tharn does not explain enough, but in the book, you find out he is an exclusive top because of his first time as a bottom he was hurt and traumatized (bleeding and rushed to the hospital), so he does not accept to be bottom no matter what, this is prooven in the series episode 13 (the special episode) when Type tries to be top and asks Tharn if he wants to try where Tharn refuses. And Type was in the book only 6 or 7 when he was abused so after the trauma he has a horrible impression of the LGBTQ + community, so he is homophobic and scared. This is realistic, even if people know it's not good to generalize and lump people in together this happens a lot in today's society, even more if they are children that had a horrible experience and they got stuck mentally in that place. This is shown in the book (very well as we can hear his thoughts ) when Type's privates get touched by Tharn the first time and he realizes that he is not disgusted by his touch but he immediately goes back to the place and in that time and remembers the perv and then he gets a panic attack. From the beginning, he does not associate Tharn with something disgusting but instead, he assumes that Tharn equals with the perv from the past... his journey shows that he learns to separate and distinguish the situations. We also are told that Type already thought Type is good looking and after Tharn touches him, Type even feels attracted to him. Basically this story is about 2 guys that each had their trauma and helped each other, people with super problems don't react normally, so obviously they can seam toxic, even more at the beginning but at the end of the book and even series, they are actually shown to change, become more mature and lean-to heal and grow. As you can see in episode 13 Type is already so different, and his father is hot-headed and defensive like he was :)) I know that this information is not shown clearly in the show but after the backlash, the production team explained that this is based on the book but 12 episodes were too short to convey very well all the details... and as for season 2 they mentioned they will make it more detailed.
Yes it's possible, it's called vaginismus but this drama. In this drama the girl probably as a trauma from her…
They did not explain the condition because they never found out about it, this is a real story by the way!!! And they are still together but I don't know if they just gave up... also this happened mostly because it's Japan (they don't believe in mental illness or trauma and they are embarrassed to talk about sex or sexual problems, the society would point fingers at you). That is why the author of the book/main character of the series never shows her face at fan signings or book signings, she always wears a mask (you can watch on YouTube).
Sooo I'm on the first episode and I'm actually like "really???!!!" I feel like this is not even possible. Is this…
This story is true!!! It's based on an autobiographical book and the main character in the author's real life story she is still alive you can see her on YouTube at the book fan signings but she never reveled her face she wears masks. That is why this story is so strong and it's sad that people graded so low without knowing the back round basically this is not just a story made for artistic reasons it's a story that shoes the true experience of a person, the plot can't be changed because it would become a lie. The author used such a bold title (even if this happened in Japan) because she said she does not want to censure anything about this and how serious this is. I want to find the Eng translation of the book.
I don't get the low score. This drama felt so real and was so engrossing to me that I binged it in one sitting.…
It's because people don't understand about real-life problems and suffering (like depicted in this project) and stupid fictional plots that are dramatic only to exaggerate things. This series is a true story based on a book and the main person in the character of the story is actually the author of the book (it's an autobiographical story).
I am so invested in this Tv show because it's a true story, actually, it's an autobiographical story based on the book. And for me, this couple went through hell and until the end of the series literally did nothing to solve their problem... I felt so frustrated for them and I was talking with the monitor for the first time in my life... asking them why they don't do anything!!!! They made all the bad decisions and no good ones (when it came to fixing the problem). Also, I want to read the book desperately (is there an Eng translation, I want to buy it!) I want to know if there is more to the story or they actually did nothing, the title of the series, as I can conclude it reflex only their conclusion and not the opinion of a professional There are so many things ( psychological and physical that could be treated/resolved) that they could have but they never got a diagnostic... Even I can name some that fit the scenario (because I like to study anatomy, and read about the human body and psychology) that can be resolved. At this point, I imagine the author got money for her book and from the tv show and she can do so many things to resolve her issue. Also, I feel that this would have never happened in a Western country because they would have already done the impossible to get to a specialist and do everything in their power to fix it as soon as possible instead of waiting years in suffering and then give up. If you know something about the book pls give me info! Thank you!!!! <3

Together with Me, By Bad Romance and Together with Me: The Next Chapter it has 3 seasons (yes the scrip writing was a mess and it bothered me). The ones that you did not like are all new projects, they announced officially that they have problems filming because of the virus so many projects had to improvise and change in the last minute that is why they can seem chaotic. I personally like Why R U? (though I have to say I noticed that there were parts that advanced fast and some that were dragged out, also it took more than 5 episodes for the viewer to understand the motivation/drive of the characters, a lot of important things were kept a mystery until later in the series, and now there will be at least 2 weeks of pause until they will continue the story) as for the second Tv show you mentioned I did not see it, yet. I plan to watch it... I am curious to see why it disappointed you. :)

True!! There are 3 dramas that frustrated me because they were canceled or they messed up the writin and production. First Addicted (Heroin) the Chinese BL drama, second Love by Chance (I wanted as well a second season that was full cast) and the Bad Romance series, spin off ( 3 seasons) with the strange inconsistent character personality flips and changes.
Wrong! "Bad Romance" was broadcast in 2016, and "Together with Me" in 2017.
Yes, I watched all 3 seasons as well because I just loved the characters and the chemistry and the actors but I studied scriptwriting so for me the writing is important, it just got to me how there was no character evolution it was just a flip and a back and forth between personalities (I can't remember everything well now but at the time as I watched the series chronologically for the story, in the second part of the story almost in all episodes I kept repeating "wait Korn would not say that" or "Knock would never do that". I think is the writing would have been consistent they would have made more seasons, they have a strong following even now after years. :)
Wrong! "Bad Romance" was broadcast in 2016, and "Together with Me" in 2017.
What I wanted to say is that between seasons they switched the character's personalities between them, because they had a chaotic script writing (that is what I heard). So in" Bad romance" Knock is confident about being gay while Korn is not, then in "Together with me" it's the other way around... In one of the seasons, Knock wants to explore more and is curious and wants to party in the other season Korn does the unthinkable... and steps over... This is one of my favorite couples their chemistry is so good, they get along they are comfortable but the fluidity of the story was ruined for me because the production team seemed to be a bit chaotic and the story turned out inconsistent. It could be that I mixed up witch one script was first because it was some years ago... but yes at that time I heard that one of the first scripts was actually from an older season... that is why the order of the release of the seasons in not chronologic... could be they had the script from season 3 first and they built the story around it... so they created after that the script for season one made it, then saw it did not work made a new script for season 2 changing the characters this one had mega success and just made the season 3 after the old script they had. Also, this is the only BL couple as I know that has 3 seasons <3 for now.
I've been trying to come to terms with how Pete wouldn't be in this s2 but reading some comments justifying it…
So New the director is very good friend with Saint so he did not want to change the actor. As Saint suffered a lot because allegedly Perth's ex manager (he has another manager now) posted on the internet mean comments about Saint creating fake rumors that Saint basically sleeps around with the higher-ups in the industry. So a war between the managers broke out, while Saint and Perth did not have any problems with each other. Because this went on for some time people started pointing fingers at the actors and in the end, they just stooped talking to each other. Also, Perth's ex-manager tried to exclude Saint from promo shows and fan meetings because he wanted to replace Saint with another actor (Saint was the only actor from the show that was from a different agency, the others were all from the company of the ex-manager) thinking he could make more money that way since he noticed the series was successful. The manager kind of ruined everything... Saint said at a meeting while crying that he will not accept to come back to this project no matter what (it was a horrible experience for him), and because New was sad he did not want to continue the series, after some time Saint came back in TharnType in support of the series and New decided to do the second season after there were no more problems but as he said Saint did not want to be in the drama (he is supporting it from the sidelines).
OMG this is my first time reading comments on a BL dramas. This is shocking. Who are you to judge other human…
Some are like this because there was a wrong translation and an incomplete one at best for and an announcement that some BL actors made, and some people believed the badly translated version and were offended thinking the actors hate the BL projects and the LGBTQ+ community. When I have the opportunity I try to explain what actually happened because I think it's unfair for the actors to get hate for something that is out of context and badly translated.
straight actors do that all the time though, when they get big doing a certain kind of character or acting in…
The idea is that they did not stop they said they will not prioritize them, but they will do it if it's interesting and challenging, the translation was done badly and was not complete and because of fake news people are hating on them.
I saw tons of situations where people did not have all the information on projects and they did not like them but they also in a way did not have the entire experience :))
