this! I just hate the fact that I invested my heart and time on a drama.. a well-made one, only to find out the end was about "the one that got away" sigh...🙈 it end at ep 13 for me...
the thing is.. relationship is hard, even more LDR, it takes compromises, sacrifices, efforts, and lots and lots of patience. I just thought with a love and bond a strong as they have, and the tenacity they posses in persuing their carreer they would fight for their love.. not breaking up at their first few arguments or over the distance, when clearly we all could feel the love and longing from their eyes even when she is married to someone else in 2009. then to have HD married someone whom she have LDR with.. its just doesn't make sense.
aah it seems like I made the right decision of not watching the last 2 episodes! ep 13 will be the ending of this beautiful and profound love story.. after watching ep.14, I think the only plausible plot for them to be the end game is that they have a secret relationship and marriage, and can only be announced to the public after Heedo retirement, but Yijin marries Heedo with different name, otherwise when Minchae search their name it would revealed secret marriage between them, meaning it was never public.

me too, I'm too invested in them, in their story and growth not to get heartbroken if they do not end up together.. I know, its realistic that first love doesnt end up together.. but its too painful..
