Why do I have bad feelings about General Song and Awu trusted maid wedding? Everything about it is iffy.. general song clearly doesnt love her, she used her as a way to forget her love toward Awu, and not feeling guilty to be by Awu side. I have a feeling that someday the trusted maid will find out about her husband long admiration and longing towards Awu, and she will turn evil out of jealousy. Either that.. or I have trust issue with C drama, I hope this one have a happy ending..

He has this stillness that far exceeds usual composure some Chinese MLs accustomed us to. Quite extraordinary.
He is so charming on screen, its like his whole body eminate charms, me and my friends watching this drama can not pin point what excatly that is, untill you mention stillneess. Yes, his potrayal of the well seasoned general is like a still deep water, calm yet intense, simple yet alluring.
Episode 18 was amazing!! The scene where Xiaochi was there when they open the gate and awu running to him was breathtaking.. so far loving this drama the cinematography, the acting, the chemistry of the leads is just off the chart! I love how when they talk to each other it almost like whispers, sweet whispers, could someobe please explain what did they talk about on the bed in ep. 18? It seems Xiaochi was a bit upset jealous? the way Xiaochi looks at his wife.. oh man..
So. The ML is supposed to be an antihero, I'm guessing. A TRUE ML antihero who isn't afraid to do a LOT of bad…
Gawd you are good! You basically sums up everything I feel about this drama, not the best script or written characters, and honestly pretty predictable. Its a shame I like both actors, but despite all somehow, I kindda wanna watcha it more, at least for now.
8 episodes in and I'm hooked. It takes a few episodes until I kindda like the ML, for one he killed FL in the first ep granted she manage to be resurected after they throw her in the water, amd he is very cunning, but latter we learn why he is cunning. I like that he is smart.
FL is not annoying (thank god), she is not that smart in planning her mission, and get into trouble multiple times, but she is adorable, brave and possesed great martial arts.
This drama is a litlle gem! I Love love.. the natural chemistry of the leads, I Love how organic, simple and casual the story is no major drama, no revenge, no power struggle, no plotting, just two people with different background learning about love and falling in love. This drama is healing for me.. a very pleasant watch.
The leads are so adorable the ML is not the typical overbearing kind althouh he gets jealous, he is reserved and awkward with romantic feelings, nerdy but oh so endearing, calm, sweet and he really listen to FL, and that how communication in relationship is build.
