I dropped the first season so hard around the middle but now...I like this new actress very much! And Jang Uk has changed for the better - one of the things I didnt like before was how weak and annoying he was, but well well how the turn tables hahah(not sure if he has matured fully though, time will tell)
Still, the crown prince is my weakness now as he was before <3 I think its the actor, hes sooo intense and charismatic, if he doesnt get a romantic interest I would gladly take the role :) We'll see how this season turns out, for sure I dont plan on finishing the first, it wasnt my thing, this one seems fresh
Oh no...i don't want to be spoiled so I won't ask why but...I was hoping for some nice romantic scenes between…
Just watched it, thabk you! Omg ๐ฅบ first, the actors should NEVER be dubbed, Chinese dramas lower their quality by doing this...its not professional on any level, hearing the actor 's voice is part of their performance, otherwise whats the point? If I was an actor and if i had any pride in what I do and studied for, I would never allow to be dubbed, its like a dancer that doesn't use their own legs to dance in front of public but chooses a double....I much prefer their original voices in the clip! Abd i hope soooo much all these scenes will be i cluded! No point of cutting such important moments for the story of a princess somewhere, putting salt in mountain cracks, who cares :)
Watching ep 9 and this is really ponderous. Lian is a sad excuse for an assassin. If you had to chose between…
The emperor, he has the charisma and the acting skills to a T. The actor of Yi Wu Yu just cant act(and I dont like his looks but whatever, it doesnt matter), his casting is questionable as is his role, actually, he hasnt added an i interesting plotline to the drama yet. I think he and most of the actors in the drama are giving lukewarm performances. FXF outshines everyone else
The emperor is growing so much on me! Havent watched a mature male lead, not talking just about age, since RoP. Its so different and interesting, I cant wait to see how their relationship changes but for now - the ML is so smart and intriguing, the strongest character in the drama. He basically carries the whole thing, I want PXR to step up if she can, shes definately challenged now
I also like that the plot is bot simplified with a clear antagonist. Ive read that the emperor is antagonistic...from the point of view of who ? I disagree, he hasnt shown anything antagonistic till now, in fact hes portraying the role of a wise but strict ruler very realistically. He could be considered a" grey character" which is amazing to have for any drama, honestly
I get annoyed when a good budget and good storyline is just sooo poorly casted as this.Only the male lead who…
Yeah...FSF is amazing (as always) and Peng Xiao Ran has her good moments in my opinion but everyone else...I dont think they could be called actors, agree
I really like the ML and FL up to ep3, they are very good actors and have chemistry but the other main characters Yi Wu You and Qi Hai Rui just cant act, unfortunately, not even a bit of screen presence. The production is also...on a lower level but the story is promising and I expect it to be interesting, despite being somewhat childish especially in ep 1 and 2.
The green screens were so obvious, not to mention the plastic buildings and overly crisp colouring of the clothing, making it obvious that its made from modern fabrics and it looks inauthentic...but well see
Just a thought; not sure about all of you, but personally I feel at least that the male lead isn't at a moral…
I think that he has few(or even no other) things shaping his character, aside from wanting revenge, hes not shown to have other motives or qualities apart from being smart (but that is more of a skill set). Im still waiting for character development, up untill now he doesnt have one
I really liked the first three episodes, so amazing! Ep 4 and 5 were also good but ep6 I couldn't finish for three days...finally I finished the last 5 minutes of it, it was quite boring to me and it seems like the series takes a different turn from the initial feel of it.
So many scenes could have been shortened or omissed...its business talks and explanations and planning over and over with little to no emotion, like a looong lecture or online class. In the beginning there was a personal drama in the story of the ML, characters felt so alive and waiting to tell their stories and see how he would get to know them now in his new life, what will happen. But they are now lifeless and dont make meaningful connections, they dont interact properly, even the grandpa. Just...stale, a bad script scenario. I still hope the tempo will pick up and something new and different would happen. Be ause right now its one business plan after another, one company after another.. with same results...as if the writers are using the same plotline from the first episode we got introduced with Hando.steel. Now everything is following that case , it feels like the same thing.
As of now I'm not wowed by Son Joong Ki's acting...Vincenzo managed to stick to the leads story and had life to it, I have hope for this series and want to like it but Im not eagerly expecting the next episodes as before...ep 6 was quite the disappointment
The ML is Feng Shaofeng but there is also a romantic line with the 2ML Zhu Zhengting.
I watched him in Prince of LanLing - he was younger there and had a cheeky side to him, very charismatic and I loved his acting! Cant wait to watch him now! He is an actor with a definite manly prescence!
I really liked the pace and plot up untill ep12 and ep13 especially was feeling slow and pointless. I hope they…
After it was revealed who is the supposed accomplice they started introducing many filler scenes and the mystery disappeared because, while the characters still dont know who it is, the watchers know so it was very boring and aggravating watching them being perplexed ans slowly finding out what we did episodes ago with nothing new added. Also, this boy, if he really is the accomplice, has zero screen presence and acts like the bad guy from a teenage movie. His character killed the mystery and changed the flow of the story, hes not interesting enough and we waited so many episodes to know who it is and then...he just watches with open mouth and pretends like he is complex or something And they really started overdoing the dramatic music in scenes, it just drags things out and seem tacky. Ill see if if the series lives out to its reputation....
I really liked the pace and plot up untill ep12 and ep13 especially was feeling slow and pointless. I hope they remedy the situation in the last episodes but already two -three episodes felt so different and not on par eith the past ones, so it feels like its going down...
Omg I caaan't ๐๐ Those fans really think they have a chance with him even if he was single? Abahah gooo Bai Luuu, hope they get married while the drama is airing๐ค And truth is, all the actors people like, they are not single, of course they aren't. Most of them have private relationships . Its just...men in that age and with that popularity and with good looks, they have options fans dont even know about, just, someone tell them ๐๐ it doesn't have to be Bai Lu, he is already taken, peace
