Fr I'm tired! Usually it's a good indication of the viewers age and how long they've been watching BL. Cause a seasoned BL fan doesn't obsess over Bad Buddy. BB didn't invent shit and isn't the point of reference for every BL out there.

The web novel ended just as the series : we see FC and GZ discussing a book that narrates their story. Implying that all we've read was a book and ZX and ZZ are book characters 😱
However, the writer published a physical book and added a special chapter with ZX and ZZ meeting FC and GZ abroad. Following their scandal, ZX and ZZ moved to Canada. So both couples are real. Thanks god 😂.

Agree. I loved it at first but then they spent too much time with FC/GZ instead of developing the romance between ZX and ZZ. I've read the novel so I understand they were quite true to it but for once I'd have prefered they took more liberties.
Also while the acting was good overall, I had some issues with Shuyan in some scenes (sometimes I'm not sure what he's trying to portray, he looks like a deer in headlights, and other times, like in their final argument, he's doing too much).

Rio doesn't seem in love with Sota. The whole thing reads as something you start just because you want to be in a relationship. I've seen plenty of this in my high school years. And the couples never lasted more than 6 months.

I understand your experience and how it might trigger you now but I still don't see what's manosphere coded about their little group. They didn't create the group for this purpose. One of them has a crush on a classmate, they decided to help him get the girl's attention. What's so bad about it ? Girls also do this everytime : discussing how to attract their crush, how to talk to him, doing the same activities as the guy etc (I'm a 41yo woman, I remember my middle and high school days 😂). We see this in hetero series and also in BL and GL.

Manosphere = space that promote mens rights, misogyny and anti feminism... I don't see that here. Considering the context, the group's purpose makes sense (how to navigate an all girls school, how to interact appropriately with female students). Mind you, the real reason they formed the group is because they had no interest in the other club activities, not because they wanted a space to complain about their situation and criticize their classmates. Also, I don't remember they say girls aren't allowed in their group ?

I love the irony with the title : both characters are very emotional and the series makes us emotional.

I know this series is ragebaiting us but the comments about being back to square one and the lack of character development are annoying. Are we watching the same series ?
Don't you see XF talking back to his brother ? Not accepting everything his mother asks him ? He's much more open and shows his displeasure. He even tried to refuse LQ' demands to come home, to keep the key. The series hints he's learning stock markets, and is doing something for himself. He's not the XF we met in ep1.
As for LQ, he's more expressive, asking for what he wants : XF to get back together, to come live with him. He asked him to go to Europe with him. Ffs, he even told him "your mine"! I mean, it's obvious he sees XF as his husband and he's planning their future together. Yet people are still saying he's using XF. Be serious guys.
