Question for the novel readers : I got the dom/sub dynamics but do Bei and Xiao Fan have a little pain kink ? Was the "ashes on Xiao Fan" part mean to imply that ? At the end of the episode, FanFan bit Bei's finger.
While watching ep 6, I realized they deserve each other. They both are repressed and don't communicate properly. Fanfan doesn't say what he wants and waits for Bei to claim him while Bei doesn't express his feelings out loud but takes what he wants and drives the relationship. The issue is that while Bei understands Fanfan and dotes on him, Fanfan is always guessing Bei's thoughts and motivations. He's not very smart (or should I say he's too innocent ?) to understand Bei loves him. Which is quite understandable after the 2 years "break up" with no explanation. Bei really needs to explain him why and what he did to secure their relationship. Can't wait for Xiaofan's revenge against his family. They're worse than rats. He was so oppressed during their visit, they sucked the life out of him.

I think that's the point. This series is about attraction, passion. They both fell in lust at first sight 😂. They didn't have time to really develop their relationship because Little Jane started to listen to gossip and backed off. Mind you, Little Jane's mistrust is understandable, they don't know each other enough. Still, they're obsessed with each other. The series will show us how they're gonna develop real feeling and trust.
This series is so good! I love how messy it is : problematic Jane Patrick, dumb litte Jane, suspicious and annoying Dan. Tee is fantastic in this role and so sexy it's unbelievable. I haven't been crushing this hard on an actor for a while. He's fck hot, especially in today episode.

OOC means Out Of Character. The characters personalities are presented a certain way, and after some chapters you have a good idea how they think and act. However, for the sake of drama, the writer makes them act differently from the way they usually behave. They do things that contradict their motives and/or values.
