Stories like Love Alert are much more grounded in reality than fiction like To My Shore and Revenged Love for example.

To My Shore storyline is presented in a pretty bow (good directing and acting for sure) but Fan Xiao motivation isn't fresh nor sophisticated (when you've read many books and seen many dramas). The "you're too nice, I'll defile you and bring you to hell with me" trope ain't come yesterday. Anyway, at the end of the day, to each their own.

Yes Fah doesn't like Jimmy. He told Teh in ep 1 IIRC but did Teh pass on the info to Jimmy ? No, he didn't. In ep 2, he thought something like "oh too bad for Jimmy, Fah doesn't like him, I will seize my chance". In the first 2 episodes did he ever say to Jimmy "Fah told me he doesn't like you, and since I like him I'll pursued him. Please as my friend, leave him alone" ? He didn't. So we don't know what Jimmy would have said or done. Jimmy is a playboy and a cheater but we don't know if he doesn't understand no, if he's a stalker or even if he respect the bro code.

The issue isn't about Fah. We're talking about Jimmy and Teh's friendship. Jimmy's whole scheme isn't about jealousy, but because Jimmy feels betrayed by his bestfriend and wants to punish him. By lying several times to Jimmy, Teh disrespected their friendship and exposed himself to Jimmy's revenge.

Teh lied to Jimmy several times. Teh knew Jimmy was interested in Fah, so he should have told him when Jimmy said he wanted to fuck Fah. I bet Jimmy would not have pursued Fah. Then when Jimmy asked him if something happened with Fah on the night they shared the romm, he lied again.

Please, people, red flag characters don't mean the story is bad. We can have, I'll even say we deserve, all kind of stories : fluff, dark, comedy, green flag characters and toxic characters... Lovely couple dynamics and problematic couples... Fiction doesn't have to be a Disney movie.
Also, you all lapping up chinese bls with crazy and criminal characters yet you'll criticize thai bls for mild toxicity. Be serious for once.

Jimmy is one fucking dumb bitch. Can't wait to see him cry for Toh. The whole thing is about his ego. He doesn't care about Fah but since Teh betrayed him and Fah ignores him, he's bent on punishing them. Crazy behavior.
This show is quite entertaining. It makes me feels so many emotions : I'm disgusted by Jimmy' scheme but I can see he likes Toh (from the moment he saw him), I'm sad for Toh but his passiveness annoys me. And well, his brother warned him...

The pacing isn't the issue. What's frustrating and unrealistic is Akin refusing to explain to Than why he broke up with him, and Than still simping for a guy that disappeared on him without a word. A simple "bitch, I left you cause you're a cheater!" would have resolved their issue in 3 to 4 episodes and then they could have reconnected, with Akin groveling to make up for his stupidity.
We're in ep 7and we're going in circles : Than asks for an explanation, ready to apologize, Akin refuses to communicate... rince and repeat. This isn't a slow burn , that's a weak storyline. There are so many ways this could have been done better but they chose the lazy route.

Oh I love Minato already. I like that he seems aloof and mysterious but he's the one initiating things : making friends with Wataru, hugging him spontaneously, asking to live together again... I enjoy Jbls a lot more when the MCs aren't tsundere or overly shy.

The dumbest, ridiculous and laziest plot ever. This could have been saved by dealing with ThanAkin secret in ep 3 or 4 but we're at ep 7 and they're still dragging this dumb shit!
The MCs don't even feel like main leads in their own story. What a shame.

I don't like to be this person but CopperFifa gives me nothing : Fifa can't act and they have no chemistry. Even if they do have a series together next year I can't even see how it will play out. Mind you I didn't feel ThomasKong and Kong can't act but here they are, very popular so what do I know ?

Glad Pung chose himself even though we know he did it because he knew Copper wouldn't choose him. It might be wishful thinking but I def can see him and Wave together. I don't know, I can see a couple dynamic like tsunderePung and brattyWave.

Overall I didn't like this season. We didn't get to know the boys individually, we really didn't see them interact with each other. It was too scripted, to the point the boys wore too much makeup all day long even in the morning, fresh out off their beds. Please.

Please stop with the drama. People are just stating their disappointment. Nobody hating Fifa or Copper. Not on this platform. Don't bring X drama on MDL.

Look, Jimmy is a playboy and a cheater but it doesn't absolve Teh. Teh is lying to his bestfriend for no reason! He knew Jimmy just wanted to fuck Plaifah, there's no feeling involved. He just had to be honest with Jimmy : tell him Plaifah doesn't like him and that he also wants Plaifah. I would have understand if they decided to compete against each other for Plaifah's attention. But the way he lies and doesn't care about their friendship makes him worse than Jimmy. I can't stand him.
As for Jimmy, he's a dumb fuck. The whole revenge scheme is just him following his feelings for Toh, though he's not aware yet. Can't wait to see him cry and grovel to get Toh back.

What a letdown! Strong start with an interesting mystery, then they lost the plot. In the end nothing was really explained, the shit father was absolved and VanFarm ended up together.
As usual, New Siwat directing is bad : SeaKeen skinship was awkward in many scenes and the kisses were embarrassing. There were too many repetitive scenes (flashbacks mostly) and the pacing got weird in the second half.
I knew I shouldn't have any expectations with New as a director but I got fooled by the first 6 episodes. I hope he'll never direct another SeaKeen project.

You're right. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you can't explore other people, because at the end of the day they're here to find a work partner. My "issue" is how you make it happen. Some guys has a one track mind like North, others are friendly and choose multiple people to find the right partner, but there's no ambiguity, like Porsche or Pete. And then there's Copper who seemed to really like Pung's attention, send him letters, was very happy to get Pung's letters etc. I'm not saying Copper is a player and did it deliberately, but his actions could hurt Pung.
That being said, I'm aware my take is biased because the editing isn't very genuine. This season feels more scripted than previous ones. It seems CopperFifa spend a lot of time in the house but we don't see it, meanwhile they let us see CopperPung more in order to build our expectations.

Same, I'm not into RyuPatji, NorthOtto and CopperFifa. Something not giving this season. Maybe it feels too much scripted, I don't know. Some couple were set from the start but we didn't even see them interact much. CopperFifa for example, some people said they spend a lot of time in the house and IRL but the show cut their moments together... in order to push CopperPung ?

I need Pung to choose himself. I don't want him to wait for Copper and get the teddy bear. No hate for Copper but giving expectations to someone while wanting another person from the start is not something I approve. We laugh about Thomas, Keng and now North only focusing on one person through the show but I prefer this behaviour, than giving hope to someone but choosing someone else in the end.

Yeah I thought about that, to complete his redemption arc.

I knew he was the bad guy as soon as I saw him. Cause why would he get such a small role ?
