I'm backlogged on a few shows and movies to sub, but once I'm done with those and this show still hasn't been subbed, I might pick it up. I previewed the first episode and it is quite interesting. But my experience has been shows that have top rated/popular actors usually gets picked up by fansubbers eventually, so just have to be patient.
Skeweds Translations has just subbed this in English if anyone is interested. Although you'll need to find a way to save the Chinese video from streaming sites (I use Internet Download Manager) and then overlay the English subs on top of that with your video player.
Wow, what a great movie. I was just expecting a simple story with lots of food porn (of which there is LOT, lol). Indeed, this movie is a love letter to the small yakiniku restaurants who cannot compete with the big players. But we are also treated with an engaging and touching story about a son trying to reconnect with his mother through food made by other restaurateurs influenced by his mother's kindness. Tao was excellent as well (all her food reactions are priceless, haha) not overshadowing the protagonist's journey and struggle. We all want someone like Tao in our lives to help us through the tough times!
I wonder if this has a romance in it. Surely Naoto and Tao look good together.
There was no romance unfortunately, but it was hinted for a tiny bit. Any romance would have distracted from the main storyline. A great movie nonetheless (Tao makes every movie great, haha).
Hi everyone! I'll be subbing this series, since no one seems to be picking this up. And I like Sota anyway. You…
Episode 3 is done. The cases are definitely getting more interesting. Episode 4 looks exciting from the trailer. Should be out in a couple of days, depending on my schedule.
Hi everyone! I'll be subbing this series, since no one seems to be picking this up. And I like Sota anyway. You can get the subs from D-addicts. Episode 1 should be out this Sunday, and then every few days for subsequent episodes.
Just in case anyone is catching up on older Tao shows, I have subbed this series. You can get the raw files from Nyaa and the subs from D-addicts. Enjoy!
This just aired yesterday (Mar 21 as I write this), so fansubs won't be so quick. And that's if any fansubber wants to pick this up. But since this is Suzu Hirose, it should be quite popular. If no one picks this up in the next few weeks, I might do it. Just have to be patient.
I think this might be my fav slice of life drama so far in my jdrama journey. Ep. 2 hit with the emotional impact…
Oh yeah, that one hit hard. Can you imagine I'm watching this, with tears running down my face, and I'm still trying to type in the words in the subtitles at the same time! It was a mess! But it was such a heartwarming show, and we have to accept that death is a part of life, especially doctors, who see it more often than most.
