Just finished subbing Episode 2. There seems to be a recurring theme of someone dying in each episode. It was pretty emotional in Episode 1 when Azumi passed away and Ichi was reading her final letter. Episode 2 hit even harder when it was one of the doctors on their own team (sob!). If this goes on, I'm not sure if I can take it in Episode 3 and 4!! Haha, but I will keep subbing anyway, with lots of tissues at hand.
Hi everyone, I've recently gotten into subbing, so I decided to do this series (I'm a fan of Sota). Episode 1 subs are here (timed for the NSBC release, download from the link provided by Mary in the comments below):
Let me know if there are any mistakes, etc. and I'd be happy to make the corrections. Takes a few days to sub an episode (considering each episode is nearly two hours long), as I do this as a hobby in my spare time. I also sub the on-screen text, as well as Japanese terms, references, etc, and provide footnotes to help the viewer understand more context.
By the way, this is such a beautiful and heartwarming show, and prepare the tissues, you're gonna need it, haha.
I'm also looking out for this title, but it's not available online yet. The Blu-ray/DVD is getting released on April 2. And then you'll have to wait for volunteers/fansub groups to take on this title to do translation and then it *may* go up to the usual websites for viewing.
