I am watching this for our nephew Lennon. I am excited to watch him on his journey. The last kid I did this with was Wu Lei and look at him now. So hoping for the same growth for Lennon too.
This is one of those dramas you can't pinpoint how it ended up so flat cause it had such great potential to be a gut-wrenching epic story. The only thing that kept me intrigued was the mystery; once it was over, the last episodes felt forced??
I am sorry, but when will she actually unlock her memories and regain her full strength. Like this making her dependent on a man when she was the leader is kinda stupid....In the beginning but by now, she should be rising up again.
Ooooh great predictions! My prediction is that crazy Jin Ah is probably going to try and kill Soo Yeon and kidnap…
We could scriptwriters at this rate. I also predict Jin Woo will die saving Soo Yeon, and his mom will get arrested at the same scene. Hong Jin Ah will go into a hospital for treatment. The dad will be allowed to fall in love with Soo Yeon's mom (some vague meeting in the street, and they smile at each other.) I know Dong Ha and Soo Yeon will end up together, but frankly, I don't want them together. LOL. I don't think they loved each other much, just got used to the idea of being together, and honestly, she never did heal. Also, her relationship with Mi Sook is no longer one that should be transformed into an in-law.
Well, I expected something else from the show. It’s okay but not exciting. Shen Yue plays as always Shen Yue.…
LMFAOO. I was wondering why I couldn't get myself to immediately pick it up despite the excitement about another Zhe Yuan drama. Your comment hit me. Shen Yue literally acts the same in all her dramas. I feel for her cause I don't know if she is stuck being typecasted or if she actively picks the same role cause she has honed it down. At this point I am convinced she doesn't have much range.
This comment section is so funny. Cause why are fans just stating a fact suddenly being called haters? Pretty sure most people here showed up because of a celeb they like and want to support. LMFAOO everyone needs to chill.
to all the ppl commenting "propaganda" y'all are simply sinophobic ppl tryna hide ur agenda here
Genuinely asking how do you define propaganda? Because anything that tells a story one sided with the notion of influencing people's ideology is propaganda no matter be it America or China doing it. People can call a spade a spade. Heck that Purple Hearts movie was called propaganda material, because as people we should be able to acknowledge when media is being used to propagate political ideologies that are skewed towards one side. Hutong is part of the many movies and dramas that are lined up to celebrate the National day, and obviously no government will want to the areas their failing to be highlighted so they will blow the trumpets on the areas they believe will resonate with people and evoke nationalistic pride. Many countries do it too, just they tend to be on the opposite spectrum of pro-capitalism.
Anyone can suggest similar novel like this one. Just cute innocent love story. I need more!!!

I normally have to turn off my brain when I watch medical dramas cause I know they are full of flaws and the dramatization of hospital settings is hard. That being said, I just can't deal with the way the characters in this drama are written. Yes, they are dealing with issues we deal with, but to make Du Di so cold like that is ridiculous. As a doctor, you know you have to tone yourself down when explaining medical decisions so they make sense, and give the patient an opportunity to clarify and voice their opinions. If their opinions do more harm, you then assert your reasoning in a very professional manner. Du Di on the other hand raises her voice and is literally like I said so, and you have to obey me cause I am the doctor. Nope, Nope. Don't work like that. Patients have rights as well. Secondly, that interaction with the ML when she thinks he is the boyfriend of her patient is also so unprofessional. You don't blast such information in such a condescending tone in a waiting room full of other patients and visitors. You pull the family aside and talk to them. As for CongRui's miscarriage, it literally made no sense. Cause, they are all in full PPE, what is some blood from an HIV patient gonna do? Kinda shows the backward thinking the writer has towards HIV. Also during surgery, you mind your own task and never move anything without communication. She just pushed her like that, what if she was holding a scalpel and ends cutting the patient? Sloppy writing. They are trying so hard to set her Du Di as some cold, uncallous, goal-driven doctor and all it's coming out to me is a very unprofessionally toned doctor. Then the ML just gets to sit in the nursing station, gets to read a patient file, and discuss the case in broad daylight like that when he isn't on staff yet. I have to laugh. Anyway, after 5 episodes, I think I can say I did give it a try. Hope the writing improves and Du Di, but this is where I end.
LMFAO. Does Baek Seung Joo think she stands a chance with a lawsuit?? Home girl, you abandoned your son. Tell that to the courts and see what they say vs a complete family with the mother he knows.
Oh, my word. I knew Dong Hee was a doormat but if she can't even verbally defend her rights as Him Chan's mother then what's the point?? Like girl stand up and fight for your son.
