I am watching Wu Lei's PEAK interview, and honestly, this summer with him as LBY, I forget how this kid is chaotic and naturally funny.

Reading their goodbye posts signaled that our time together has come to an end. Hard to believe that we started this journey 2 months ago. As they all said, summer became splendid because of each of you. We shined the sky together, and I am grateful. LLTG community, you will be in my memories forever. Literally could have been used for reunion explanation like how he came back, and also a little more on them integrating back in society if you will. LMFAO

This has to be the most mid-ending ever. I think they tapped out, in my opinion. It could have been fleshed out better. Like one moment, she says he can't come back, and then right at the end, he does...like how?? I am not a fan of reunions being the ending scene. But do have to give Dylan Wang his due cause that acting as Tai San was so good.

Of Lusi's prominent dramas since 2019, she probably has only been paired with someone minimum max 3 years age difference a handful of times, which was with Hong Yi and Liu Te otherwise, most of her MLs have been at most 4+ years older than her. The oldest ML she has been paired with is 41 years old (Dating in the kitchen).
As for Wu Lei, he just started doing romance-centered dramas recently. The scripts he used to pick were focused on other themes (martial arts/wuxia, gaming, friendship) with romance sprinkled here and there, so I don't think he ever got cast with older women. But Long Ballad was his first major romance-centered drama (in my opinion), and for that, he was with an older woman, and while they worked hard in the scenes, during promotion, you could tell she was conscious of her little brother.

I keep coming to see if he has any new romance project. It was really sad just seeing him get faded out despite his hard work in dramaland. Also think right now Tdramas are being overshadowed by Cdramas in terms of investment. I surely miss that 2014-2016 streak of good Tdramas.
