i've been active in chinese social platforms and mainly observes but when i first saw this melon post, the comment you would see from zy fans is "looking forward to red dancing shoes""looking forward to lin xue fan". every melon post is like that no matter who the rumored male lead is. they don't really care who the male lead will be as they always only care about zy. but, for some reason, wzq fans has adverse reaction on this melon post. why? is it because he's zy's classmate and it will be a shame to not be an equal billing with her on this female-centric drama? there has been chaos in wzq fans because of this melon and that is why a fan liaison has to step up and say it has nothing to do with him. wzq fans has then all the confidence to step on this 'rotten cake', throw insults on this drama and zy. later, it was announced that wzq will indeed play. isn't it only to save face so wzq fans say that he was forced to take on this role? even saying that the drama can't start without him when in fact, the crew is already doing the drama setup in yunnan + hiring dance troupes and extras when zy was announced as female lead. the cast has undergone military review and it's hard to change but the fan liaison should have been professional and not reject on behalf of wzq, that's a slap on wzq when he later accept.

for the wxy rumored drama 'cause the attacks has been going on for months now and just intensify every time this rumor resurfaced. afaik, there are no issues for yi ou chun and zy fans don't wanna meddle when xk had that issue – just hoping it'll clear up so the drama could still air. i do remember tho that there has been a minor dispute between xk and zy fans months ago because of a rumor but yeah, nothing extreme and more like subtle remarks. zy fans never actually engage in billing dispute so far (they also said that in the fandom statement) so those with ill intentions can't really create such problem using that matter. the thing is i think there will always be chaos if zy and wxy were to collaborate again whether a rumor or not. zy and wxy are def good friends, they're open about it but then, they've been rumored to be dating multiple times which caused wxy fans to attack zy which of course, will not just let it slide by zy fans.

putting aside how zy was attacked by wxy fans because of this rumored drama (she's being attacked ever since she was rumored as female lead). zy fans were mainly rejecting this drama because of the serious female abuse plot which could potentially damage reputation and how yu zheng always used zy as a shield (this rumored drama always trend with zy as female lead whenever his company has issues).

what i said is based on fans camping on set, too. which rumor is true then? there are extras on the set who said that they have a separate group filming for xk scenes and zy scenes which means that they both are just filming more or less the same amount in the same day if they are not filming together. anyway, just wait how this drama will turn out and if xk rumors will affect the post-editing. i'm not here to spread rumors.

yes! there's actually a lot not shown like for example, in the supposed episode 1 before he yan decided to enter the army. he yan will actually try to assassinate he rufei but then, the person inside the carriage she ambushes was her mother instead of he rufei. there's some emotional exchanges between them and that's why she abandoned the plan of revenge by killing (giving he rufei a quick death) but decided to prove herself and take everything he rufei worked hard to steal from her.

there's also a scene showing why xiao jue was at the temple, he was so devastated and he went to the temple to pray. this is also an emotional scene.
